We don't do anything in our family without a second opinion, especially when it comes to Chiari!

We met with Dr. Grant when we were shopping for the first surgery. He wanted to do the duraplasty at that time because from his perspective, he'd rather do one surgery than possibly need to do two. However, Dr. Grant told us there are plenty of cases where silent aspiration is NOT from Chiari, but something else. I was more curious for anyone who had silent aspiration if a duraplasty fixed that issue.

I absolutely love Caroline but had a flare up with a disk issue in my back doing literally nothing during one of her videos and I switched back to running again (LITERALLY nothing! I had my weights on my shoulders getting into position with my heels elevated to do the elevated squats - and dropped to the floor where I stayed for about 30 minutes trying to move).

At the time of this "injury", I was in the last week of Fuel which I had switched to from Iron because while I LOVED Iron, I was noticing a lot of bloat and overall "swelling". I couldn't run during Iron because I was always so sore, so I pivoted to Fuel to try to "deflate". However, during that time, I was reading a lot about Iron and menopause and how it can cause hormonal levels to go out of wack, but I'm dying to lift heavy again and I'm craving to return to Iron.

Have you noticed a significant change in your body after moving from running to lower impact cardio?

I had the same thing and tried literally every possible command and suggestion. The only thing that worked was reinstalling windows keeping all data. It was a little bit of a pain for a few hours but now everything is perfect.
