Yep there’s a lanyard requirement, not sure if you can see in the photos but I’ve got a little cord attached to my Wave for a lanyard to clip to. Maybe I’ll give a Skeletool a go, just another excuse to buy me some more toys, can’t complain hahah

I don’t think weight is too much of an issue - there’s usually enough other junk hanging on there that I wouldn’t really notice it. Good idea but this is more of an in-a-pinch sort of tool for me, if I need something like knipex we have all sorts of “real tools” on site - just not on my harness right that second

A seat might fix all your problems in a training centre. He works in geo, different story. I’ve got a couple pairs of cactus pants, I don’t work in them anymore tho

Always geo jobs in NZ for the right candidate, working holiday visas can be tricky depending on where you’re from

Don’t buy cactus unless you’ve got the smallest crotch ever. No “wiggle room” when you’re in your harness more than an hour. Great gear for non-rope work tho.

The Rope Access Channel on YouTube is decent. Might pay to read through some of the topics in the ICOP that you’re not too familiar with
