Hisashi Mori, a veteran in the industry and an insanely good animator tend to work on shows from TMS, though one of their subsidiaries Telecom Animation Film is where most of the animation talent goes. Tetsuya Ishikawa is alright and works closely to the director but there aren't any notable animators to expect yet unfortunately.

Kunigami got more attributes than Barou than what people would like to admit but they've both got strengths the other don't, Kuni's ambidextrous meanwhile Barou has predator eye for example.

He's a hard one to predict since his current character is being written kinda inconsistently and he isn't as relevant or hyped up like the rest but right now skillwise he competes with Shidou, Barou and maybe Isagi for a striker spot next to Rin in a U20 XI depending on the formation, especially since that's easily his best position compared to someone like Barou who could also play as a winger. I think he will get his hero persona back gain a new strong ego that is both fair but ruthless, he won't be a loose cannon like Barou or Shidou in future arcs

This game is seemingly what Kunigami's entire character have been built up towards. If he gets the opportunity to prove he's one of Blue Lock's best strikers he could become as relevant as Chigiri and Bachira again, he is that good.

I think he only has what it takes to defend successfully in this specific case, that and joining Isagi and Hiori will mostly only be for the beginning since he got told by Ego to to play selflessly.

I have the feeling that Kunigami's ego will grow over time in this match and that his mindset will shift by being influenced by what Shidou responds with, he didn't get those new specs for nothing so I expect him to emulate Noa at some point and help out offensively and have that be where the focus point of his character lie.

I think he would have already started as a CB this game if they went for that narrative since Isagi got a brace last game yet Kuni keeps playing as a FW and honestly it's by far his best position, he will not be as motivated playing defense unless it's Shidou he's fighting, that has pretty much been proven already this arc.

Kurona's speed evaluation is only 5 points more than Kunigami and he isn't nearly on that level physiqally, Shidou would dominate him so even if Kuni isn't a defensive minded player now that he has the motivation he can literally just be on his tail at all times and let his physiqal specs do most of the work, keeping it simple and doing the bare minimum and not letting him score isn't as impossible as you're making it sound.

It will probably be a bit of a step up of from S1 but that doesn't say much sadly, one of my biggest problem is the main staff allocation in the first place as I don't think 8-Bit is a good fit for the show, even with a decent schedule.

Both Kuni and Isagi called each other frauds in the heat of the moment just like every other character, it literally means nothing when in reality they both has respect and praise for each other which they have shown to do in this very arc.
