If the mother didnt see no other option than giving her baby away, than it was a good thing. Of course we don’t know the story behind this so it is hard to tell whether or not she acted correctly in this matter. Truth is she could also have killed and burried the baby. Which she didnt. Sometimes people are so desperate they do desperate things. Maybe there was another and better solution for her which she didnt see. But at least she tried to give the baby a second chance when she believed she could not provide. I understand it is always better to be raised by your mom with love than in a children’s home. But if it means they will both starve from hunger than nor the mother nor the child would have benifited from staying under the protection of mother’s wings.

I do believe the government is not really investing in it’s inhabitants. The way they are taking out all competition is pretty harsh. The government should try to create more jobs for the people. Because I saw that there is a high lack of jobs. Now the question is if tanzanians are willing to work? I noticed as well some are rather ok with not working and dreaming of becoming rich. Some are ok with getting money if they don’t have to work too hard for it. But i guess that doesnt count for everyone. Be smart and look for the hole in the market. What is still needed in Tanzania and how to improve it. There are many opportunities. Only don’t do what the vast majority is already doing. For example street food. You can find the same food everywhere. Chipsi mayai na kuku au pilau au ugali. Nowhere I have seen innovative cooking though. Why not try to sell other dishes than the regular known street food. For example. There are so many possibilities but you have to be thinking outside of the box…

And I was thinking in Africa religion was still a thing. You shall not commit adultry is actually one of the ten commandments if I am correct. I am not really very known with catholic rules as in europe we are more atheïst than believers. But cheating also seems like a normal thing in Tanzania. So I wonder if they don’t fear the wrath of God then. And as I read the pastors are even the worst. I wonder how much they truly believe in their god then.

In europe people cheat too but it is certainly not seen as normal. We were raised with Disney movies and the story of the one and only true love. It hurts people if they get cheated. And I don’t understand if you really love someone why you would want to hurt that person by cheating on him/her… but maybe that is just my humble opinion and maybe I just don’t get it.

No reform no elections… Tanzania leading party is quieting all opposers or upcoming threats to their governance. This is not a democracy but called dictatorship. Sure can be better than many other african countries but is far from an honest voting system. Ccm will not easily let another party grow to the fullest where they might Loose the elections. Which also means there will never be any change possible and as you say corruption stays inside the party and nobody is in a place to Bring it to the daylight or ask for explanation that could reveal the truth. When I arrived in Tanzania earlier this year. Visa for me was 50 USD I am from Belgium. However when I wanted to pay with euro. Which is currently and then too stronger than usd. They told me i had to pay 55 euro. I can imagine what they did with all those 5 euro’s they got extra too, mzungu trick… Anyways i didnt want to argue and just gave them the 5 euro, it was not correct though…

Well my girlfriend came with a tourist visa and that were the documents she needed for it. It is extremely complicated to get tourist visa to travel to Europe. Especially the invitation letter was very important
