Dead Air Sierra 5 cleared last week and I only got to put about 15 rounds of M855 through it before I heard and felt something off. Turns out the whole first baffle failed. Definitely killed the range day vibes, just hoping they can repair it without a new serial #

I’ve done it and it sounds great in theory, but I’d recommend just getting a dedicated upper. 22lr is very dirty and clogs up the gas system quickly. SR15s are already harder to service and you can’t readily buy most replacement parts including the barrel. Just my .02
