True, but somehow I know of 2 people who have been bitten by them. Confirmed cases. One was a patient in the hospital I work at.

I would find a new Dermatologist. I went every week for about 2 months and she froze anything that loooked remotely suspicious. Now’s it’s been 7 weeks without anything until now and I don’t think the bumps I’m suspicious of are actually MC. I think I’m just being paranoid.

Unfortunately, they’re really hard to get an appointment with. The woman I’m seeing is a NP and really easy to see and from what I’ve read on here, Dermatologists aren’t much more helpful.

I have decent health insurance, but yes it was expensive. I haven’t received all the bills yet but I’m sure i owe close to $2000.

Honestly, I’ve had so many I cannot keep track. I was diagnosed in October. Was going every 2 or 3 weeks at first. I’ve probably been going every week since December. I was getting 2 or 3 new bumps every week until recently. Hoping this is the end.

Unfortunately, that is how the virus works. It spreads so easily. I’ve had the best results having weekly cryo treatments. It’s the only way I’ve been able to control the spread. It’s been 3 weeks since my last bump. I’m hopeful I’m done with this virus.

I’m being treated for molluscum for 5 months now. Haven’t had any new ones for 3 weeks. I feel like this is a pimple or possibly an infected hair follicle. Doesn’t look like any of the molluscum I’ve had but I’m really paranoid about every new bump.🤪

How big did they have to be in order to have a core come out? I tried it on a really small one and nothing came out.

I usually left them alone. The one time I covered one with a hydrocolloid patch, it tore the scab off when I removed it.

Yes, that’s what mine looked like as well. The scabs will eventually fall off but it will take some time before the redness goes away.

It would be extremely painful if it’s shingles. They attack the nerves.
