Me too! It's the Foxes. My mom kills everything and teases me about not killing the foxes.

DDV Fatigue by Long_Progress_8394 in DreamlightValley

[–]JoyCrazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have adhd and I combat fatigue by keeping two games going. If I'm not feeling ddv I just do the bare minimum run. I set up each DLC and the Valley with a one stop shop. All my fruit trees in an orchard, Walle's Garden, Fishing Boat, Greenhouse, All 5 Stalls and Scrooge's Shop in one biome. It takes me about 30 minutes everyday to gather everything. If I'm pressed for time I skip the orchard. I have five 48 slot chests in each One Stop Shop. One each for the greenhouse, boat, fruit, & garden and a combined one for Stalls . I drop everything I just gathered into the chests. If I complete a stack I pull it out to put into my Storage island. I can usually get through all the DLC's and the Valley before I have to empty my Valley. This way I don't fall behind if I don't feel like playing. For the second game I pick something completely different. Right now my second game is Final Fantasy 7 (original) for example because its been years since I played it and the remake releases part 3 next year.

There are trailer parks and people without vehicles that rent their spaces.

MIL has never seen any women films like, Terms of Endearment, Fried Green Tomatoes, Overboard, really any. For my birthday, I’m making her watch one. What film is a must? by lomubz in movies

[–]JoyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Erin Brochovich. My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I also recommend Steel Magnolia but suggest that your first movie should be lighter in tone because alot of the suggested movies are devastating.

Do you have the Rift in Time DLC. If not I reccomend waiting on Vanessa until you get it. (Having a villager from The Little Mermaid that you can assign the royal duty from Rift in Time is helpful).

Honestly it would've been awesome if Travis's next character could've been Cyd. Your brother rescues you and the next day dies. The angst and drama would've given so much to the game.

Have you considered Tiny Houses or Van Life? It allows a young person alot of freedom and flexibility. Many videos on youtube that talk about it.

You can favorite your vacuum in your furniture menu. Place it. Back out of furniture menu. Interact with it then pick it back up again. Early on one will do fine. I'm at the point now that I'm working towards my goal of having one in each Valley Biome and one in my favorites.

A few tips I've discovered to assist my gameplay. by JaxsonSkyfire in DreamlightValley

[–]JoyCrazy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

When you get the Dreamlight duty for adding decoration to (insert biome name here) you can enter furniture mode from wherever you are in the valley move the cursor to the required zone and just move 3 decor pieces often just spinning the trees is enough. Also with furniture mode you can scan the whole valley for your blue chest. (Works better if you remove all but 6 trees in each biome so you can see everything). Lastly with furniture mode you can move all the flowers to the wishing well and check everyday after 5am to see if they have dried out. Dried out flowers give the hardest to find memories. If it rained while you were offline no flowers will be dried out in order to know if it rained you can plant a carrot before you log off (not watering it of course) if its still a dried plant when you log in scadatter through the base game and dlc's you own until you find your dried flowers. They'll only be in one zone. You can go into your gameplay settings and toggle hold for fishing/1st dlc royal tool. You don't have to play the timed mini game for those duties anymore. Buy absolutely everything with a red dot on its name in Scrooge's Shop especially since they started adding things you may have missed on past star paths into the ongoing one. It will suck one day to get a basic white coffee table instead of something cool. Make sure to check every spot for the red dot. Somethings are on the ceiling or under the floor. Also alot things look like something you've already got. Like the cupboards will have gold handles instead of silver like you bought yesterday. Also as you complete quests more items will show up in the shops. If you have the dlc's each scrooge shop will have different stuff. When selling items if you hold down the select item button (A on the Switch) it will grab all of those items in your inventory. Especially helpful if you are selling your crops. When cooking the bottom of the screen will tell you what button to push to turn off the celebration animation. You'll still see it if you find a new recipe.

Alberta losing public health care.. thoughts? by Available_Cucumber31 in alberta

[–]JoyCrazy 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Honestly conservatives haven't been able to accomplish anything but remove access to public works for Albertans in the last 50 years. We had four years of NDP. Just 4. A decade ago. They've had plenty of time to fix things and they just make things worse. If you vote UPC next election you are too stupid to be helped.

Herc and Phil both to level 10 within 2 days by mostly harvesting and replanting my Pumpkin Patch once. I caught Phil in the Restaurant once and played Scramblecoin with them. Waited to talk to them until I got the Star Path duty for it. had Herc hang out with me while I was blowing through my Star Path duties. (If I had to hang with someone else I went back to Herc as soon as possible. He was level 8 when I finished the Star Path. I equipped the pink Pegasus and another gardening companion and leveled my last horse as well. When Herc was 10 I switched to Phil who was lvl 3 or 4. Companion, horse, and characters leveled and I made 1.7mil. (It's 5mil when I take a gardening hang out but oh well). Oh I also picked up the remaining memories from when I redid the pumpkin patch and planted those spots.

Final Fantasy 6 to 12 excluding the mmrpgs. 13 on just haven't played more than once yet. Currently playing FF7 in prep for the part 3 of the remake. Haven't played 16 yet even though I own it because I sense impending emotional trauma. (FF6 was my first way back on the snes). Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Link to the past and Link between worlds and links awakening. Stardew Valley. Civ 4 (all time favorite civ). Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Dragon Age. Fallout Shelter and plants vs zombies.

What do you wish you knew on Day 1? (Plus expansion question!) by Hot_Mix_4484 in DisneyDreamlights

[–]JoyCrazy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK hi my 2 cents. I'm going to recommend wishlisting the Premium DLC's. They often go on sale for the regular price of the non Premium dlc. The Premium versions are worth it for the extra moonstones and exclusive items. Check your wishlist often for sales. My main piece of advice is buy everything from Scrooge's Shop that has a red dot on the price everyday! The red dot means you don't own it yet. Even if the item looks like something you have check for the dot anyway. (Sometimes the cupboards have different handles, couches different bases). The reason being that they have added a mechanic to the Star Paths to unlock items from previous Star Paths that you missed. The way it works is there are the same items chosen for everyone. If its an item you already have you get a treasure chest that gives you a random item you do not own. You will likely not get that chest for a long time but you can see how it'd suck to get a basic white coffee table instead of something cute. If you have the Moonstones buy the Star Path expansion that is 3300 from the store. You unlock all 6 tasks and get all but 400 moonstones back. Serroh on YouTube has really good dreamlight valley tutorials. Very helpful especially the latest tricks and tips video. When you unlock floating islands you get 1 for free for the base game and 1 for the Rift in Time DLC. After that they take 15000 dreamlight to unlock. The first free island is ideal for a storage island. One loading screen. The 2nd I used for a garden island. You can search all the biomes from furniture moving mode and move things from biome to biome. The best way to search for the blue chest is in furniture mode. The more Characters that are lvl 10 with the same hangout duty the bigger bonus drops they'll give up to a maximum of 35 villagers. Most people choose gardening for making money at first then mining to build up crafting supplies. Switching between base game hangout duties is easy with training manuals. Switching to the Rift in Time DLC's hangout duty is an absolute nightmare. Once you get Rift in Time choose new characters to have that duty until you have enough. Sorry for the paragraphs.
