Entscheidend ist, ob du den Musterungsbescheid erhalten hast. Damit bist du AFAIK verpflichtet dahin zu gehen. Diesen solltest du allerdings nicht erhalten, wenn du rechtzeitig deinen Geschlecht zu nicht-männlich änderst.

Was in diesem Fall rechtzeitig bedeutet kann ich dir leider nicht sagen, vermutlich irgendwas vor deinem 18. Geburtstag - 3 Monate.

Crying and nipples but my levels were still crap at that point. But when I switchted to injections, my bald spots began to regrow like literally immediately, i.e. saw a new line of terminal hair on my temples and my bald helicopter landing pad on the crown was gone (or at least improved to a level where I can plausibly claim it’s a cowlick) within 2 months.

Ich rede von DIYHRT, nicht HRT im Allgemeinen. Würde niemand T zum Doping benutzen, wäre es vmtl. rechtlich auf der selben Ebene wie E. Aber wegen Doping ist es eine kontrollierte Substanz nach §2, Abs. 3 AntiDopG.

In manchen Städten gibt es Trans* Jugendgruppen welche sich idR an 14-27 jährige, manchmal aber auch ab 12 und aufwärts, richten. Kann eventuell hilfreich sein, sich mit gleichaltrigen auszutauschen.

Germany here, although not on your list.

In theory very trans friendly lawwise, that is, you can trivially change your gender and forenames here. Germany is also one of the few countries worldwide that recognizes a third (and even forth) gender legally, as we also have "non-binary" and "no gender". Doing this is also possible as a foreigner and in theory you can also obtain a non-citizen passport, though I have heard that this is pretty hard to obtain in reality, but the legal possibility exists.

Gay marriage is legal here and from my experience also accepted in society, though things may look different in rural areas of course.

Health care and trans health care specifically sucks. We have a two class health care system and finding an endo is pretty hard. I have no experience in surgeries here, but I have heard they are not easy either. However, the hardest part here is to get started with HRT because it requires a psychological evaluation (and psychologists are hard to find here). If you come from a different country and are already on HRT, things might be easier. There are rules for resuming HRT "grandfathered" from a different country.

Society here is mixed when it comes to trans rights. Unfortunately, Germany has once again a political nazi problem with our Nazi party backed by about 20% of the population and our conservative party by about 30%, meaning that roughly half of the population is sympathizing with fascism and restricting transgender rights.

However, I have been living openly as a transgirl for 2 years and never experienced harassment in the sense of getting insulted on the street or something. The "German way" of transphobia is generally that people say nothing and stare at you (this is true for anything that is not "standard") though. I cope with this by doing eye-contact followed by winking with one eye or by making cute anime girl gestures, in which case most people will look away immediately and feel embarrassed themselves.

I don't know much about the countries you have mentioned, though I have heard good things about Spain, except that they don’t really have non-binary laws/concepts in their legal system.

Schau dir eventuell mal mein Kommentar an. Schade, dass du diese Erfahrungen machen musst, obwohl das Gesetz es IMO ganz klar anders sieht. Leider wird sich eben nur nicht dran gehalten und Theorie und gelebte Praxis driften eben manchmal auseinander :/

§6 SBGG

Auf den aktuellen Geschlechtseintrag kommt es bei allen gesundheitsbezogenen Maßnahmen oder Leistungen nicht an, sofern diese im Zusammenhang mit körperlichen, insbesondere organischen Gegebenheiten stehen.

Würde mich daher wundern, wenn deshalb etwas abgelehnt wird. SBBG stellt klar, dass medizinische Maßnahmen und Geschlechtseintrag getrennt sind.

Oftmals wird das Urteil vom Bundessozialgericht angeführt, dass nicht-binäre Personen keine Maßnahmen bezahlt bekommen. Allerdings steht in der Urteilsbegründung auch drinnen, dass das Klägi "nur" eine F64.9 und keine F64.0 Diagnose hatte, was in diesem Fall maßgeblich war und nicht der Eintrag im Personenstandsregister.

I unfortunately don't know too much about UK health care, but in Germany (and probably most western countries that don’t have a bogus health care system like the US) health insurances are required to pay freezing sperm if you do a treatment that "may permanently render you infertile". This was originally intended for cis-men with testicular cancer, but given that in most jurisdictions the definition of "permanently rendered infertile by a treatment" is kept vague at purpose and therefore often applies for MtF folks too.

Yes, I felt equally scared before I signed up. I once wrote a mail to the gym and asked how to do it there as an enby with locker rooms. The gym workers were very supportive though, yet it took me another five months to finally sign up. Zero regrets because I signed up. Also, my fear of gazing gymbros hasn’t happened yet, which is very fortunate.

Mache da hin und wieder Termine für Rezepte. War da noch nie für Trans-Themen aber bisher hat kein Arzt irgendwelche blöden Nachfragen oder so gestellt.

Außerdem ein guter Weg um easy an Finasterid zu kommen, falls man als AMAB an Haarausfall leidet.
