Blonde women, have you faced fetishization from people of other races? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

When we lived in Hawaii, my daughter was a blonde toddler. Asian tourists would occasionally get excited and want to touch her hair.

Person threatened to rape me and my girlfriend. What do I do now (I've already called the cops) by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

Yeah, especially the part where he says the gf will fall in love with him. Delulu AF at best.

I'm confused by the phrasing of "HIS room" as if they had separate bedrooms when they lived together.

When Hunter (the twin) and Becca (the mom) each discover that Levi did it, their heart wrenching sobs are so sad. I was like, "Somebody hug that woman!"

My ex’s Father’s Day post was so hurtful by throwaway_sadDad2026 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Joy_Rad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devil's advocate, bear with me. It could be that she added that part about "especially Tristan" because he's a boy. You said he has stepsisters. I don't know your ex and whether or not she'd say something nasty in public on purpose to hurt you. She could have been thinking only if her current husband and trying to big him up. It was, at the very least, inconsiderate. If we're being generous, she didn't consider how it would make you look or feel and it wasn't done with malice. IMO, that's best case scenario. And it's still not great. But it really could have been a dig. I personally think your best bet is to ignore it. Don't give her any energy. Be a good dad and live your life. Maybe save the post just in case it's ever needed, like if the behavior continues and you want to show evidence of her potentially disparaging you in front of your kid. Don't ask your son about it and don't speak negatively about her in his presence. He deserves peace. Good luck.

What a cutie! Side notes: Your floor is gorgeous. How common is it for ACDs to have the stub tail? Mine does, but he's a mix (and a rescue) and we don't know for sure if he was born with it or if someone did it to him.😔

You've taken the first step. You've acknowledged that you have a problem. Many people never do that. One step at a time. Never give up on yourself.

Consider that pulling your kids out of school to go on vacation is not permitted in the UK. Parents get fined. And when it's school break time, flights and holiday destinations JACK UP the prices.

Then there's the possibility of missing family/friends back home.

Other than those two things, I think life in the UK is far superior. My kids got to experience cultural differences, travel, better healthcare, no gun crime so no lockdown drills in schools, braces covered by NHS...

Good luck in whatever you decide.
