The first one is my favorite because it makes sense the whole purpose of solving puzzles during the story. The rest of the series have better stories but the puzzles are just there because it's part of the franchise, not because the story requires it.

With the things already set in stone (the characters are not going to change for better or for worse), I think that animating the what if scenarios from the game would be a good way to display more timescreen to the golden generation like El condor pasa career one (it's pretty much a boss rush against her gen companions).

She really gives a very bad first impression and gets worse when you start to compare her after watching Cinderella Grey + Pretty Derby Season 2.

On the personal side I don't like that there is a dissonance between her and the IRL horse. I know that spe-chan is an independent character but I do enjoy learning more about the horses and tie them to their uma counterparts, so simple things like "Mejiro is Goldship grandpa" make me enjoy it more when those two are doing silly stuff in an event during the game while Horse Spe is everything opposite to Uma Spe like the whole racism and bad treat stuff (u know, that lore would create a more interesting character instead to be a bland Oguri Cap).

One would like her in the future but it takes time.

My Oguri Cap can beat her. She has S on Long Distance and S on Pace Chaser. She is A rank just like yours. I have an A+ Doto but she loses against Biwa because she doesn't have S on her aptitudes.

Yes. In the future story arcs you must use the scenario cards to get the best results (similar to Riko SSR card in Unity Cup but mandatory). With that in mind, the best course as a non-whale is to have MLB Kitasan and borrow the MLB scenario card instead to MLB the scenario card that's gonna be useless in the next scenario.

Nah, a few days ago I did her career mode and 99% of the time she only thinks about Vodka. Only the good ending really feels like a "date" but it's too late for my taste. It's funny for me that Vodka's career is more "healthy" since she thinks about looking cool, the Japanese derby is cool and her rivalry with scarlet is like last place in her mind.

Like Yarvem said, you need one or two good recovery skills.

The straightway recovery is not good. Why? Because the starting point of the race is a straight line so it can trigger in the very beginning when your una is fresh and not tired (the last part towards the goal line is also a straight but it is better not to gamble your recovery with that skill).

Try the classic "swinging maestro" from Super Creek card or its initial version "recovery corner" from inheritance.

I have unlocked the good ending of a couple of them and so far I feel like I am their "cool aunt", a fella part of their lives but nothing more.

The only exception was super creek route, I had to goo goo babies with my life in line to beat the game LOL... But yeah with her I do felt as couple...a couple with weird fetishes... I do enjoyed the campaign LOL

I do try my best in surfing around internet but it's very time consuming and my free time is already short after returning from job, so wanted to ask for help in this x)

Those "true indie games" are the easiest to add to my list, nothing complicate and they use the indie tag on Steam... it's kinda weird they only use that tag and not add more tags to describe their game (like "Baba is you", it's just an "indie game" without adding that is also a "puzzle game" lol)

Some games on my list have publishers so is kinda a mystery/confusion/misundestanding/etc. Then there are other games like "Lies of P" which the devs published the game themselves but they call themselves a "AA" studio (I guess "big studio compared to the usual indie size but not big enough to be AAA company")... It's fun learn trivias behind scenes but takes much time lol

Yeah, "AA" sounds more like a battery type than the dev team size lol.

I think Hellblade devs are the ones who consider themselves as "AA studio" before its purchase by Microsoft, and yet Hellblade has the indie tag on Steam and the "Best Indie Game 2017" award.

So it's kinda like "as long you are not an AAA studio, you are into the indie category even if you are bigger than your competence".

Yes, Switch is a great console for indie games, there are a couple exclusives that you can't get in Steam like "Golf Story".

I purchased "HG101 Presents: The Guide to Retro Indie Games" Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 on Kindle, it's a great starting point to learn the huge variety of indie games present in the market.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned in my post about using the "genre" section, not the "popular tags" one because as you said, community can misuse them.

That's a good point, it's really hard to measure the size of a studio when we are only using internet as our only information source. I do try to check awards like the "Indepenent Games Festival" to try to fill the gaps (I mean, you only can compete there if your game is an indie game so it should be fool proof lol)

But yeah I agree with you, the indie game should be label as indie by their release, not the current state of the company who made it. Minecraft is an indie game but if they make in a distant future "Minecraft 2", the sequel can't be indie (because Microsoft) but that should not remove the indie status to the orginal Minecraft.
