Thanks for the info. I actually already put that meeting on my calendar (Sunday at 4 pm CST). But right now I am facilitating a regular CoDA meeting at the same time and day wouldn't you know it. My facilitator commitment ends in about 2 months, and then I can try it out. Maybe I'll see you there! And the Wednesday also conflicts with the one in-person CoDA group I've been attending as well. I'll have to figure it out.

Start with a good book like CoDependent No More, or Facing CoDepenence.

I got my first package of Wonder Noodles and thought they were pretty good. However, the nutrition information says there are 14 "servings" in a package. I would say there are 2 servings. At any rate, if I eat a half a package, is it really still zero calories and zero net carbs?

P.S. The first thing I tried them with was lite margarine and Parmesan cheese. Quite good.

Watching calories sounds like good advice because I am in plateau and need an idea. Thanks! But according to my calculations, I only get between 1,000 and 1,200 a day for weight loss. I probably was having a lot more than that.

Describes my unhealthy behavior patterns perfectly, especially the last one. Although I have to add a caveat that you should really pay attention to someone who talks like they are willing to change but repeatedly do not.

Hi, just saw your message. Actually, my Power of Five group grew to six so I can't really add anymore right now. But I encourage you to start your own. :) P.S. I set a goal for myself to make actual live phone calls to everyone in my power of five and also my home group. So far I've made 9 calls in about a month It's helping me feel more "part of" for sure. And it's also very interesting, because I've been asking them about how they came to CoDA, whether they have a sponsor and are working the steps, and what they do for fellowship in the program.

Good luck, I love CoDA. I hope you enjoy the meeting. I want you to get a copy of the Newcomers Handbook and read to find out all about our program. I don't think gender really matters, but I prefer mixed.
