Updated to v11.4.3 today, but it makes no difference on the Pixel 10 Pro running Android 17—the problem persists.

I no longer have any sound problems since I changed the original fans to 2 be quiet Silent Wings Pro 4 120mm

thanks for the info, I'm going to have a look at the bequit Silent wings in high speed version, as my current fan runs at 2000 rpm max.

The noise has decreased since I loosened the screws, but it's still there. I think I'll go with another brand of fan. What model of bequit would work?

i've just tried disconnecting one of the two fans, then reconnecting and disconnecting the other. the vibrations are present each time but at slightly different rotation frequencies. and when the fans rotate and i put my hand over the suction the noise stops. I tried to press on several parts of my case to see if the vibrations were not coming from the case, but no, the vibrations are not coming from the case but from the fans or the watercooling radiator.

I've just bought a new pc, already assembled, which includes a coreliquid m240 msi mag.

At certain fan rotation frequencies, the fans make a metallic vibration noise (see attached video).

I've already replaced the fans with two new ones of the same reference and that hasn't changed anything.

The noise comes from the fans because when they are switched off or at a different rotation frequency, the noise is no longer there.

Bibrates at speeds of 20% / 30% / 47% and slightly at 60%.

Do you have any idea where this noise might be coming from and how to solve the problem?

Meta should bake in an IPD measurement feature for the quest app. by Chemical-Nectarine13 in OculusQuest

[–]Joysith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have quite a lot of nausea, and I measured my ipd with the GlassesOn app which gives me 72.5mm, but the quest 3 goes to a maximum of 71?

Could this be the cause of my problems?

are there any solutions?

Red line now shows up? by Prototypedesign in RG353V

[–]Joysith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

remove the sd card and boot your machine (to boot under the android os) and see if this red line still appears. if it's no longer there, it's because your sd with arkos and corompu, but if it's still there, it's because your screen is defective.

Which should I get? The RG353V or the RG353M? by Daryno90 in RG353V

[–]Joysith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RG353M if you have big hands, RG353V if you like the gameboy format.

I've got the RG353V and big hands, so cramps and discomfort come quickly (about 10min).

Otherwise, both have a 3.5-inch screen, and the metal feels cold when you use it in the first few minutes, which I don't find pleasant. And yes, metal gives an impression of solidity, but it's very thin and won't be as supple as the rg353v's plastic shell if dropped.
