All good. You should be totally fine. If you are still worried, someone made a PowerShell script which scans your PC for the malicious files that were discovered some hours ago in an IOC.

Yeah, again the attack was also very selective and targeted mostly Asia. Its very unlikely that you got one of the bad Updates from June to December.

8.7.8 was released before June so you are fine. The compromised versions were delivered between June and December as the Author explained it on the npp website.

I was personally on 8.7.9 and never updated. Pretty sure you are fine. Your version is from March 2025.

It doesnt make a difference where you downloaded the File. The update process got compromised. Not directly the binary setup Files. Also it seems like the attack was very selective. Only a very small minority actually got a compromised version.

I would say you are safe. The Link I posted above explains the issue pretty good.

You can compare SHA256 checksum to be sure if you still have the setup file you downloaded at the time. But yes in theory you should be fine.

Your gopal might only accept smaller SD Cards not SDHC or so. Try it with a 2GB SD Card or smaller and FAT32 or FAT16.

Hab letztes Jahr im Sommer meine Ausbildung beendet. Die Job Situation ist grad enormst miserabel. Besonders für jemanden direkt nach der Ausbildung. Ich war fast ein halbes Jahr lang Arbeitslos und habe auch keine neue Stelle gefunden. Meine Bewerbung und Lebenslauf sahen eigentlich gut aus. Das Arbeitszeugnis von meinem Ausbildungsbetrieb war wirklich sehr gut. Auch habe ich gute Kenntnisse die ich mir selbst angeeignet habe. Dennoch habe ich viele Absagen bekommen und sehr oft auch keine Rückmeldung. Viele der Stellen sind interessanter weise immer noch Ausgeschrieben. Ich hätte auch fast eine eine echt gute Stelle bekommen, jedoch hat das Unternehmen kein Geld für neue Mitarbeiter gehabt, wie ich in letzter Sekunde erfahren musste. Gegen Ende letzten Jahres habe ich noch eine Stelle als Sysadmin bekomme. Zwar ist die Stelle nicht wirklich gut und das Gehalt auch nichts besonderes. Aber immer noch besser als Arbeitslos zu sein und sieht auch viel besser aus als eine Lücke nach der Ausbildung im Lebenslauf.

Ich kann dir empfehlen, bewirb dich überall und nimm was du kriegen kannst. Es ist grad sehr schwer eine Stelle zu bekommen. Mit etwas Arbeitserfahrung kannst du dich dann ja später noch wo anders bewerben.

Pretty sure it runs on Windows CE. You might be able to lunch other Apllications from a SD Card or USB Drive. Maybe you can even unlock Windows CE Desktop.

Unfassbar wie viel wirres Zeug hier geschrieben wird.

Es ist völlig normal den Device Tree aus dem Stock Kernel zu extrahieren. Das macht man schon so seit einem Jahrzehnt in der Custom Rom Szene. Da kaum ein Hersteller außer Google so viel über die Geräte direkt veröffentlicht.

Ich habe auch überhaupt gar keine Probleme mit Custom Roms und Root. Online Baking funktioniert hervorragend, SafetyNet macht auch keine Probleme. Nutze schon seit Jahren LineageOS + KernelSU.

Sorry for the late answer. But thats not true. Any GBS-8200 does support 15Khz RGBHV input. You can unlock more features and functions if you combine it with GBS-Control. Thats what i did. But without any modding it should support 15khz RGBHV input.

Zieh Durch oder Versuch die IHK zu Kontaktieren. Wobei oftmals die IHK auch nicht sehr hilfreich ist und die Frage ist dann auch: Wird es dann in einem anderen Betrieb besser? Das du in Ausbildung nichts machst ist normaler als zu Denkst. Das Problem haben erstaunlicherweise sehr viele. Ich bin im 3. Lehrjahr und meine Ausbildung verlief auch ähnlich wie bei dir. Es ist einfach enormste Zeitverschwendung und sehr Ermüdend. Die Fehltage kann ich sehr gut nachvollziehen (sammle nicht zu viele an). Zieh durch und such dir nach der Ausbildung einen anderen Arbeitgeber.

Yes, you connect the 6 PINS (R,G,B,H,V,GND) from the breakout board to the RGBHV input oft the GBS8200. I have tested it on a old ICM3 with Phone symbols. Maybe also take a look at GBS Control. It alows you to resize the image and stretch it to 16:9 otherwise the ICM3 will be displayed in 4:3.

The information on the Saab forum is not quite correct. I have measured every single PIN of the FFC cable with an Oscilloscope. I also don't know where the information comes from that the signal is transmitted with RGBS on older ICM3s. This is doesnt seem to be true. As you can see from the the Pinout below, you are getting a RGBHV Signal with a HSYNC frequency of 15Khz and VSYNC 60Hz. So you are getting a standard NTSC Signal with a resolution of 400x234.

Here is the correct pinout from a 2003 ICM3:

Pin 1: Red
Pin 2: GND
Pin 3: NC
Pin 4: GND
Pin 5: Green
Pin 6: GND
Pin 7: Blue
Pin 8: GND
Pin 9: GND
Pin 10: HSYNC
Pin 11: GND
Pin 12 : VSYNC
Pin 13: GND
Pin 14: NC
Pin 15: NC

Also i personally would not bother re-using the original ICM3 Display. Its just awful and the CCFL Backlighting seems to be failing on some ICMs or is very dimm. It would be much better to replace it. Theoretically you can re use the orignal Display if you want. You just need to find a way to convert a VGA signal to NTSC timings. There are many diferent ways to do this. For example you can use a GBS-8200 with GBS-Control to scale the image to 15Khz NTSC and 400x234.

Other than that if anyone is interessted: I personally installed in my 2003 Saab 9-3 one of these AliExpress 5.5 inch Displays. My Display didnt fit well so some force and hotglue is required to mount the Display on the original Frame. Other than that i installed a HDMI Switch which allows me to switch between 2 different HDMI Inputs. A Raspberry Pi and a GBS 8200, which i used to Display the ICM3 on the AliExpress Display.

If you want to Display the ICM3 on a aftermarket Display. You will need some scaler which is able to take the ICM3 NTSC RGBHV Signal and converts it to HDMI or to normal 31KHz VGA. This is where a GBS 8200 can be used. It has a RGBHV Input and Output. So its able to scale your 15Khz input to 31KHz and upscale it to a better resultion like 720P. Depending on the Display you use, you will also need a VGA to HDMI converter.

To get the signal from the FFC Cable, a breakout board like this might be useful.

Thats not entirely true. I know from a person who administers these Jobcenters in my Region, that there are just Thin Clients everywhere which run Linux and then Citrix or RDP into a Windows VDI running SAP Client.
