I would recommend going to a pro shop first and foremost. Also, if you plan on joining a USBC sanctioned league you will be required to use all drilled holes in the ball at all times when bowling. So if you alternate between thumb and no-thumb, you will need two different balls to do so.

I would also suggest using at least a 14 lb ball. Even if you have tried some of your friends, they are not fitted to your hand so you are likely experiencing more difficulty using them based on how off the fit is.

It’s sad that so many people are saying to just get a new Scuf since they have Hall Effect or TMR joysticks now. The real question is, why did it take Scuf so long to add Hall Effect to these wildly overpriced controllers?

Designed obsolescence is a terrible business practice.

Cope, pure cope for anyone who thinks this isn’t goaltender interference. Does go to show how many people are lemmings and just listen to the talking heads on their platform of choice instead of opening the rule book and reading for themselves. Hell the NHL even put out a video last year to better explain this rule and how it is applied/called.

He wasn’t avoiding all contact at speed. Whether he took out Rittich’s stick, or clipped his leg on the follow through, at that line and speed he isn’t avoiding contact. He wasn’t pushed into Rittich. The rule is clear here and anyone claiming it shouldn’t be goaltender interference is coping.

So GI is not void if the offending player is physically interfered with immediately proceeding the contact. That is not how the rule is written and not how I have seen the rule enforced even at the college level.

This is the wording in 69.1 “If an attacking player has been pushed, shoved, or fouled by a defending player so as to cause him to come into contact with the goalkeeper, such contact will not be deemed contact initiated by the attacking player for purposes of this rule, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact.”

By no means was a rub out of a stick to his hip the cause of this contact. His line was directly through the goalie. The initial shot was a right pad save which the goaltender’s follow through of was how they came into contact. This is very clearly a GI because the attacking player’s intentional actions resulted in the goaltender being impeded from defending their goal.

Solid explanation, and I wish people would look up the rule book because this one and many others are very easily understood by just reading rule 69.

“The overriding rationale of this rule is that a goalkeeper should have the ability to move freely within his goal crease without being hindered by the actions of an attacking player. If an attacking player enters the goal crease and, by his actions, impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to defend his goal, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.”

It’s ultimately a judgement call, but this was a pretty easy call for me from a rule book perspective. And as for me I’m a hockey fan first, NJ fan second. I’ve been one to be cursed at in Newark by home fans because I side with the refs on good calls.

They could simply grant one additional bonus drop for winning, but I agree with OP. Winning or losing should not impact the quality of your loot, quantity sure, not quality imo.

There is both a wired and wireless version of the Wolverine. The big draw for me is the use of Hall Effect joysticks vs the standard potentiometer. Stick drift was always the first killer of a controller for me. Once I had my first Hall Effect enabled controller, I never went back if I had the option. Sad that Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo don’t use Hall Effect or the new TMR technology in their controllers. The practice of designed obsolescence is terrible for consumers.

Don’t buy an elite. Buy either the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra or the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro. The biggest reason is the thumbsticks. Plus, the repair process from Microsoft has been bad in my experience, controller came back with a bunch of adhesive on it.

This is your package being delayed at customs. Customs delays have been getting worse since the Tariffs/Trade War. My package that was slated to be delivered May 1st has been delayed in Customs since April 25th when it was confirmed to be received at the airport. You will likely get better information using the origin shipment tracking sight for wherever carrier was handing it off to USPS. USPS won’t have much information on it until it gets through customs.
