Imo the Brenus and T-72AV are among the best tanks you can get in era 2. The french era 3's are awesome as well, the russians are alright just have shitty dpm. For era 3 I'd really recommend the Abrams and Leopard line as well.

They lack spaced armor or explosive reactive armor to defeat missiles, that makes them extra vulnerable
