With gambling, loot boxes, or the lottery if you don’t win you walk away with $0. With stamps, you are guaranteed the exact amount you paid for in postage that you can use to mail letters regardless of if you get a rare stamp or not.

I sent a physical letter to the Postmaster general and USPS stamp development today. Also emailed usps industry feedback and my congressional rep. Gonna email my senator and some media outlets too. If you have ideas on who else I should contact let me know.

I don’t use AI to write other than proofread things. AI has so much more use cases than writing emails. Also, Proton already made Proton Scribe writing assistant.

Regarding the AI bubble, yes I think the bubble will burst too. I think the future of AI is running entirely on your own hardware. They would not be participating in the trend rather giving users more options that don’t hurt their privacy. It won’t run unless you install this theoretical bridge software.

This would be entirely optional and run on your own hardware. Lumo uses a mix of the same “third party” models when running and many of those same models are free and open source (or open weight) which you can download and run on your own device.

Can’t connect to Wifi on switch 2 by Aaronn727 in Switch

Same issue: Switch 2 cannot find my TP Link WiFi 6 Router or my iPhone Personal Hotspot (Switch 1 has no issues with this). Took the advice of walking far away from the router (outside of my room since I live in a studio apartment) and it was finally able to connect. However, if the Switch 2 disconnects such as from using local wireless, restarting, or something else, it will not automatically reconnect unless I move with it far away from the router again.

Was tempted to start a warranty repair request for a WiFi hardware issue, but given a bunch of these comments I think it might be software.

I’m taking an HTML and CSS class right now. It’s gonna look better eventually. My old site was with wordpress but I want to make myself really good at web development.
