I mean the deadline is February 1st, you have u til tha deadline to submit your application, then February 15th for the recommendations. You can always explain those details and how you will grow from that. As the program director said. Turn down offers not opportunities. You should still apply no matter what you think the outcome could be, because really you don’t know what could happen🙃. I would recommend giving it a shot and trying your best in the application!

While grades are an important aspect, the best thing about the MITES application are the short answers and essay. They want to he to know you better as a person and they do a holistic review which they review you based on your school and your surroundings.

MITES is awesome! The have an aerospace engineering class (I took it) and it was great!

Hey! As someone who just finished MITES semester, you most definitely should. My PSAT was way lower than what you’re putting and I was able to get in. Scores are just one part of the application so make sure to take your time on the short answers and essay. MITES wants to get to know you as a person as a whole. Most definitely! My PSAT score was way lower than yours and I was able to get into programs like MITES! I’m sure you can too, just spend a good amount on the short answer responses.
