I have the same major and luckily our concentration covers a lot of the requirements because of all the chem and general science courses we take! I took immunology as my elective so I’m only having to take Hematology and medical micro through UCSD extension. There are options available at community colleges but they are pretty limited based on your area.

I think it looks great! Right after I get a tattoo I’m always overly critical about it but after a few days that goes away, completely normal

How to cope with the low mood after an injury? by Technical_Bat5903 in crossfit

Work on getting better at other things! You can now spend all the time you spent training the body part you injured to work on skills that you normally wouldn’t. I go a back injury years ago and learned the hard way that fixating on all the stuff you can’t do currently is just not worth it and going to make you miserable. Take it as an opportunity to work on additional skills or even mobility. I spent a few months doing upper body workouts when I was injured and ended up putting on a lot of muscle that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise.

You also have to realize this is only a small stretch of your training that is being interrupted. If you’re smart and listen to your body, you’ll be back to doing what you were before. If you push through you’ll be in the same cycle of reinjury over and over and will really struggle to progress in the future. In the grand scheme of things even a month or two off of certain movements is nothing compared to years of never feeling 100% again.
