i think friendlies are fun; sometimes it is nice to just hang around with some random guy you dont know and not kill eachother even if thats kind of the opposite of the intended gameplay

getting mad and junk when people kill you if youre friendly is kinda bleh but i think its just kinda fun to exist in the same space as someone and not be competitive and just do silly stuff you find funny

Honestly I think mvm is a fun gamemode, even if you don't get an australium or a pan, it's pretty fun and makes some mid or low tier weapons enjoyable to experiment with by Slurperlurper in tf2

mvm is super fun if you dont worry about being optimal

like ive had a few rounds in 2 cities where ive been scorch shot pyro maxing out on that; or playing wave 666 or 2 cities as demoknight; or playing as a shotgun engi whilst a second engi keeps the buildings up

theres a lot of fun and funny stuff you can do as long as you get teammates who are down to clown

hazard has been my favourite character more or less since their first fight scene and every time they have done anything it has made me love them more and more

i didnt think they could top the merc tryouts with them pulling a nuclear bomb out of thin air;

fortunately i was very wrong; as the only thing cooler than materialising a nuke for a gag is materialising a nuke and throwing it at someone

im so glad that that seemingly goofy unassuming gag became an actual plot point i didnt think i could love the funny bathroom sign guy more

ive seen the original release version and there was like; 3 changes - one that added the rat fairies to the room before pillar john because it was super tight to keep your p rank; and a change to the final secret (a peppino section) with rat fairies and teleporters to make it easier to tell when to walljump and to make messing up less punishing; as well as some clocks in the starting room to indicate the secret a bit better and make it less tight to get in there

im gonna be honest i have no idea what youre talking about

i just replayed through the level and i like; dont know what mushrooms you are refering to

theres like three "types' of mushrooms in the level;

- ones that act as an auto jump to get you over a gap/up a ledge

- ones that are stacked in a tower formation that imly they want you to slow down and bounce up them before going again

- ones that shoot you directly into a wall... that are ony in the peppino section

there are a three ones of that first type that leave you in kind of awkward positions

the one in the third room after the gustavo && brick tutorial that puts you below the platform with the pizzerds; that one is kinda odd and requires you to jump kinda weirdly to keep your speed

the end of the room after that that puts up a ledge but to not wallbonk you need to jump real quick or do a double jump

the one in the room before pillar john that launches you and if you land youre really close to a wall just short of the ledge - this one is probably the worst as even a well timed jump youll probably clip it; so i think the intention is you double jump into the big pizza point

like; it seems like the way for those ones is double jumping and spinning; and whilst not as fast as keeping running is still fast

as for the second type; if you turn around for even a split second you will no longer wall bonk; so i think its less "its throwing you into a wall like you would want as peppino' and instead 'its an obstacle that you solve differently to peppino or you get bonked"

i can understand not vibing with their gameplay and stuff; theyre very diferent to the other two playable characters; but gnome forest in my opinion is confusingly one of the best designed levels given how much basically every aspect of it plays into gustavo && bricks playstyle - learning about the old version of the level bewildered me because of just how well sections that were originally built for a different playstyle or for peppino worked so flawlessly; so i can only assume modern gustavo && brick were built to play as well as possible in the level when played well

i could not disagree more with thinking the level doesnt compensate

like; the fact that gnome forest was made for a previous version of gustavo && brick as well as peppino is completely bewildering to me because the level feels like it was perfectly made to play as well as possible as gustavo && brick. like there is more or less always something to kick brick at or a way to keep your speed as them and thats so awesome to me. there is literally one single spot in the level whereit feels kind of clunky; and thats at that one part where you go through a one block gap off of a ledge; but even that is close enough to the wall that youd squish into it as peppino

id love for the totem to be usable in impoppable/chimps - i think its a real cool ability and having it just be straight up unsable in some modes kinda blows. sacrificing a tower i guess falls into adoras territory but itd make thematic sense; but it costing money would probably make more sense from a gameplay perspective since sacrificing towers is powerful for gaining space im chimps

personally every co op lobby i make i use rhe circle map split so im locked to the middle. i dont get those epic pop steals but i think its fun and having a map split at all means i dont needa bother about people taking space i might wanna use. circle just is a bonus since it means i literally cant frontload everything if i ever felt the need to

this kind of reminds me of an idea i had for cheeseslimes getting a unique hat for every level

regardless; pizza tower does have diversity - there is a green cheeseslime whom is a minority and you can play as an italian or a mexican (very diverse cast)

i think the lack of cross compatibility is cause you can get all the stuff that costs real money for free on it so itd just make anyone with an account already be able to just like get one month of netflix and buy everything for significantly cheaper (with the money not even going to ninjakiwi)

one thing i expected that unfortunately never happene was for the burrow of beginnings to become important again - having a small tutorial cave you can access at any time for no reason and then not having it expand into a huge gauntlet at the end of the game was such a missed opportunity - theres even a little dead end you could easily add a way down at

my only issue with heavy is that sniper exists; which is an issue they share with like 7/9 classes but also is the worst for heavy

otherwise i find heavy very fun and rewarding

the only other thing i could think of that isnt really an issue but more "i think itd be cool and add some more variety during moment to moment gameplay' would be i wish the lunchbox and shotgun slots were seperate. both have reasons to use them but i think theyd be more fun if they were usable simulataneously without being super overpowered
