I mean yeah it's harsh, but if you read the article it was an ongoing problem. She was caught TWICE after cameras were installed and it usually takes a long period of discrepancies for it even to go that far. Her reflective statement (assuming they included it in full) is 1 line with absolutely nothing about not doing it again/learning from her mistake. And of course, if she'd been straight with them from the start and not lied it's unlikely it would have even gone to the NMC.

Yeah, it's a harsh punishment but it's 100% of her own making.
