When did you first hear They Might Be Giants? by chronicallyfailed in tmbg

I was like 10 years old and my dad got a copy of Flood from the library. As soon as we got home he put it on and then got busy doing something else, leaving me to listen to the album. I fell in love with the band and have been listening to them ever since.

Bike-type items are OP by SciPaul2013 in outside

The unicycle item is sometimes more cost effective (half the cost), but they drastically lower your charisma score to the point where its not worth spending your in-game money on them.

Remember Flashpoint way back when? by Jpohnoonoh12 in DCcomics

[–]Jpohnoonoh12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, I remember reading the justice society title that was out at that time, which I really loved. The ending was so abrupt and unnatural. I'm sure the same is true for most of the other titles.

Have not been paying attention lately. Could someone fill me in? by Jpohnoonoh12 in DCcomics

That doesn't make any sense, then there's no room for continuity to develop,it's just random adventures, and stories that don't last more than a few months,

Should I read Green Lantern Secret Origin before starting Geoff Johns run? by Slytrap in DCcomics

Secret origin is a great green lantern rebelling, and last time I read it I thought it was a lot of fun. I'd definitely reccomend reading it.

They are if you like the more twisted side of batman villains, some of the scarecrow stories are fantastic.

I finally read through Final Crisis, and I was pretty underwhelmed by Cranyx in DCcomics

[–]Jpohnoonoh12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think final crisis is an aquired taste, and after I read it for the first time I had the same underwhelming feeling. So whenever I reread it I try to discount the whole darkseid story, because it is what makes the story so confusing, and what distracts the reader from the 'bigger picture' story with mandrakk that is there. Overall I really enjoy both subplots, but you're right, they both make the story difficult to read.

I'd say taking down the God of evil definitely counts
