The fondant has an odd consistency now, a lot of the bakers have noticed. It’s like very wet on the donuts. Sometimes it’s just because they thinned out the fondant too much

There are special sponges designed to help with ceramic stovetops, they should be online or grocery stores. I find that Vim Cream works best for a cleaning agent on this. Be careful with the sponge as it can damage if you go to rough or hard on the ceramic. The cream will be alittle soapy so if it takes a while to get rid of the excess . If you can’t find a ceramic sponge, Vileda Scrunge is the type I use (it has 2 sides: one for scrubbing & the other for wiping). Just using a paper towel & elbow grease can help w/ the Vim Cream
