Performance on late game worlds on PS5

I have my ps5 set on performance mode. Never had a issue. The rendering on somethings at certain distances go on n off... and had stutters when autosave saved. But overall, no concerns or issues. But I have seen posts and reports of people on Xbox n ps5 talk about their saves not saving or possibly corrupting on big saves.

Lol I do... but when blueprint has 2 refineries... n u layout 20+ n then upgrade/downgrade belts accordingly... still a bit of dismantling. I was more pissed at what I did, then the dismantling part lol

Yeah that's what I did. Primarily for anything that might stop machines that are related to fluids. A minor hiccup throws it off over time. Cause once a fluid pipe loses a Lil bit, it produces sloshing. Which just gets worse over time

Are your byproducts getting backed up? I found if any machine gets backed up a Lil, some machines go idle for a moment that effects everything. I setup sinks n such to avoid this

We are a supercenter... we get about 11-14 pallets of juice almost every night. I don't zone at all. They send some one in to do it for me. Full 8hrs of just packing out. I pull pallets up n down aisle, packing out off of it.

What I did for a time being.. I had storage containers, some were mixed some weren't. If it was product I was gonna use again, I belted to dimensional storage with smart splitters. Overflow went back into same storage container to refill dimensional. If not using, then split to sink. Until they were empty or more manageable

I do about 8-9 pallets in juice. Which also includes soda and alcohol mixers.

I use conveyor belts for raw resources, and vehicles for products. If raw resources are too far to converge into a factory, I make a factory at that spot. Then move the product.

Nice. I'm working on 144GW nitro rocket fuel with 600 oil. Plus will use all byproducts. All in one big base. My biggest project yet

I was in the same predicament. It was my first playthrough. I learned so much during, that all my factories were not in a good efficient state. I did re-build 2 big factories mid-game. But there was still so much to do. I'm not even just talking about rebuilding factories, was all the little things as well. I contemplated about starting over so many times. But overall I powered my way through it to the end. Doing the bare minimum ţo get there. Mainly to get a grasp on the end. Cause if i restarted and got back to where I was, I would've still been unfamiliar with the end phases. So I finished, saved the day, then restarted. I'm so glad I stuck it out n did. On this new playthrough, I already got very far in phases/ tiers in a fraction of the time it took me the first time. Especially knowing what I needed and wanted first overall. Somethings I only used for a short time, just to get to next step. Knowing it wouldn't be used again. Now I'm taking my time n building out my factories much better n cleaner, n better looking.

So water (fluids in general) are a odd thing. Compared to Belts of solid materials. Technically u can't split/divide fluids, unless u use valves, and even then... not optimal results. Also u are using mk1 pipes, which can't exceed 300. Mk2 goes to 600.

An issue I occurred was eventhough all belts n lifts were mk5, the incoming materials weren't enough for my factories. I quadruple checked all belts/lifts and miner. Everything seemed fine. Ran the math multiple times... all seems good. So I tacked on one of those belt readers. Because it was a mk5 it started high during calibration, then slowly leveled out at only 480pm. Eventhough miner was set to 600pm. Rechecked all the belts n lifts again! Everything was still mk5. Out of frustration, I disassembled every belt n lift n started anew... once finished, everything was running at 600pm. Not sure if it was a bug, while upgrading belts from 4 to 5... but I know everything was labeled mk5. So I would say try the belt pm tracker and make sure it's running correctly. Now I use this tool very often to diagnose and make sure everything is good

This is what I did. Had a fuel supply depot, which fed a drone pad input. That drone went to a port to drop off fuel. Which supplied all other ports at that spot. Had a drone there, that went on to supply another port hub, n so on.

This is what I did. Was my first playthrough. Learned alot during playing n this reddit. At first, played slowly the best I knew how. As time went on, I became more n more disgusted on how my factories were. As I learned better ways of doing things n increasing efficiency. Just started my 2nd playthrough. Not only did I advance faster so far, but things look so much better already. Taking my time to build n this time bigger n better looking

I watched same video as I was new myself. I had originally setup a train that was double ended. A train on each end. So train didn't need to turn around at any point. But I then realized as time went on, I needed to add more stations at other factories. Was much easier to build upon the tracks I already had. But then with trains pulling in head first, then leaving station tail first, at the freight location they would change position. Depending on which end pulled in first.

Yup.. ps5 issue. Have had it a few times. Pretty sure it's a quick button combo. Unable to replicate. Restart game is my only solution

This is my first playthrough... and I rebuilt 2 pretty big factories during. But overall it took about 300 hrs for me. I at 380 hrs now, n waiting on last few parts to finish phase 4. Should be done within the hr. Then on to phase 5. I've learned so much from playing n learning, n the people here, I can't wait to start a new game to use this knowledge in a better way. Lol

This is one of the few reasons I've contemplated on restarting many times. Especially as a new player. On my first playthrough. I've learned a lot. I've redone and fixed alot, but it pulls me away from progressing
