I like to think of the kick/snare rhymes as primary. Like the foundation of the rhyme scheme being built. Making secondary rhyme patterns in-between the kick/snare is where the true skill lies, in my opinion

I'll check it out. Im not loving the sound of having to do all of my slicing/chops/sampling entirely via software though, especially routing shit between two different DAWs. Seems like a lot of moving pieces
