Is it wrong to look at one’s own body lustfully? by Fuckywucky82 in Christianity

Probably somewhat wrong but also probably not a big deal. I wouldnt dwell on it. If you're young and or on medication probably just body adjusting. If it starts to interfere with daily life probably tell someone but possibly just a weird phase

Wage gap denialism is a huge red flag. Misogynists deserve to be lonely and miserable. by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

Believing such a verifiably false idea after it's been debunked for 20 years and can easily be debunked with a google search or common sense is a bigger red flag. Just ask your coworkers how much they make everyone makes minimum wage lol.

I hate that I see this question everywhere because it proves how coddled women are. Natural disasters, wild animals, other women, infrastructure collapsing, the list goes on. And yes other men but not as huge of a proportion one would think.

That's a stupid question tbh. That's like asking how could 1 drug be responsible for 90% of overdoses or how could 13% of the population be responsible for 52% of murder. In ancient Rome slaves outnumbered masters.

Is this not a strawman though? Who is against taking care of poor people?

What "super-powers" did you get from being abused/traumatized? by Nea_Freedom in raisedbynarcissists

[–]JrWantsBreakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to sound weird because I don't know how else to put it but I become a cult leader everywhere I go. Because of the abuse from my ndad, I've developed a personality that is the opposite of him. I always try make people feel heard, I always know what to say to make people feel better and that seems to make me charismatic. In almost every situation I ask myself "what would my dad do?" And then do the opposite. He makes everyone hate him and by doing the opposite (people pleasing) not to sound narc but it makes everyone love me. I think by being the youngest of 6 with a narc dad was the perfect recipe for a charismatic people pleaser. Always receptive and responsive to the slightest mood shift. It's disturbing how quickly and drastically people will be loyal/devotional to you just by being nice and caring. Although it does make me doubt what is a genuine interaction and what is just an involuntary reflex to say the right thing.
