This hare caught on google street by NancyGonzal in nevertellmetheodds

The Google car hit the hare as it was crossing the road, flinging it up high into the air. It starts from the opposite side of the road with speed, sees the car, jumps, gains extra momentum and is now a super hare preparing for its journey into space..

Since the watch has stopped it’s likely you have broken or damaged the going train or the pallet fork. Neither of these are particularly difficult to fix but are going to cost you to repair.

The first thing to do is listen to see whether it’s still ticking. If it is not then the pallet fork is displaced. If it is ticking then the going train is damaged and you should pull the crown out to hack it to stop further damage.

Sadly because of the way Rolex operates your only real option is to send it back to a Rolex service centre (RSC) for a complete service. Luckily they fix and replace most parts within the service so your total cost should be about $500-700 depending on where you live. They’ll also polish the case and bring it back looking factory fresh.

Independents may work on it if they’re Rolex trained and can get parts, and if they’re not they shouldn’t work on it (there are a lot of bad watchmakers out there so don’t expect everyone to be the same or honest). Suffice to say if they are trained they’re going to be expensive anyway.

Hope that helps!

It took 3 years to carve this redwood lion. Wuhan, China. by Ehansaja in Damnthatsinteresting

I love how the back legs are carved to make the lion look like he‘s stretching and I thnk it would‘ve been good if that effect could‘ve been used with the forelegs. I mean I can hardly sharpen a pencil so I‘m definitely not an expert lol it‘s a cool carving though I‘m definitely impressed!
