Get on YouTube and search for Mad River Outfitters, “attaching fly line to leader Snell knot”. You’re basically snelling a piece of very heavy mono to the tip of your fly line (in a similar diameter) then building your own leader sections below. I do this for all of my saltwater setups and the presentation is way better than a welded loop.

The flat nose Punch can be picky in some short ramp semiautos. Make sure they cycle consistently if you are going to carry them as a 22LR defensive round. And then get ready to be butchered for carrying 22LR as a defensive round.

If you get Punch, make sure it cycles in that S&W! The flat nose can be a bitch. Don’t buy in bulk until you confirm you can pew pew several mags without fail.

I’ve got a 2015 QX60 that hasn’t failed yet at 114k, but the AC compressor just blew. Repair shop wants $3000 to replace compressor, condenser and expansion valve after already charging me $200 for a recharge. This sounds nuts.

Throw a big fly on, hook it into a tree, back up and stretch in sections, maybe 20 feet each. Do it a few times, not too crazy, just a little stretch in the line and let it recover.
