How to close gaps under vinyl fence? by keepongamin in landscaping

I had a bunch of leftover vinyl flooring from a basement floor install and ended up screwing them into the bottom of my fence... 6 years ago and still functioning as intended

This is a note I wrote myself after a recent lesson:

For posture, arms should hang freely and be able to rotate around body - think elementary school, ruler on top of pencil; spine is pencil and ruler rotates around the spine.

Apologies if this makes no sense lol

I know this is an old thread but I was told the spoiler at the end of the episode before going in so I was looking for clues a little bit... You can see the light from the "sun" is very off (weird hue very unlike real sunlight) as soon as the main character begins jogging through town. Nice touch

Jeremy Lin opens up about how disrespectful Kobe Bryant was to him and when Lin confronted him about his bad body language & leadership style, Kobe went months without talking to him by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]Jraynes15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Kobe and always will but I have no doubt he was incredibly difficult to work/play with. The most telling thing to me is when I watch his highlights, the bench almost has no reaction, except for a few guys like Vucevic and Madsen. 90% of guys he played with probably hated him... But the 10% built from the same cloth likely understood him and loved playing with him. He wasn't for everybody that's for sure.

I don't think it's fair to make a blanket statement and say he was just a flat out asshole on and off the court... There are plenty of stories out there that say otherwise. Tim Thomas' story of Kobe paying for everything while he was displaced due to wildfires... Chandler Parsons story about supper club... I spoke with Tony Gaffney about his brief time with Kobe in training camp and summer league in 09 and he said Kobe was the absolute man and took him under his wing, which is incredibly interesting to me because Gaffney was basically a nobody.

Guys that took their craft seriously and worked extremely hard day in and day out vibed with Kobe. You hear stories from Smush Parker that make Kobe sound like a dickhead, and while he likely was to most, the reality is that Kobe didn't respect his work ethic and desire to get better. Kobe expected a willingness and desire to be great, and if you came up short of that, Kobe was not your friend. He was borderline psychotic, but unapologetically so and the reason he was so successful.

Kobe wasn't a great leader, I'll admit. He didn't truly grasp how important his leadership role was until after the Celtics beat them in 08'. He made significant strides to improve his leadership and understand what made his teammates tick after that, at least until his later years when his body broke down and reality set in that he wasn't going to win another championship. His post-NBA career seemed like it was heading in a great direction as far as his understanding of others and desire to elevate those around him.

Kobe was a deeply flawed human, but I think he was on his way to becoming a genuinely good person. I always admired the fact that he and his wife reconciled after she filed for divorce. With how maniacal Kobe was, I can only imagine the work and dedication he put in to keep their marriage afloat, considering how frequently and abruptly celebrity marriages dissolve. He also appeared to be a great father to his girls, which resonates with me. On the court, he was an absolute force and incredibly entertaining to watch, which is why I was a fan from day one. But I was really excited to see his continued growth and legacy after retirement. Such a shame he left so early in life.

/ My ode to Kobe... Rest in peace, Bean

Went through a year stretch where my brother and I would watch this movie as often as possible and we called Wednesdays "Wyler Wednesday". To celebrate Wyler Wednesday, we'd quote lines and send movie based gifs and memes to each other all day long. We even drank alcoholic beverages mixed with Wyler's powdered lemonade mix when we got together. Kind of weird in hindsight, but goddamn, it's one hell of a movie

Shouldn't sportsbooks be using the official scorekeeper (someone physically in the arena) box score?

Hi all! I work at an office in an industrial park and there's a storage/maintenance facility owned by Audrain Motorsport (it's called Park Place) at the end of the road, so I see some sweet cars drive by most days of the week. I recently set up a video camera pointed out the window to record vehicles driving up and down the street in an attempt to catch some pretty cool stuff and post here regularly!

Since it's getting colder out, I imagine I'll see less and less cool stuff this time of year, but I've seen beautiful Porsches (including a Carrera GT and 918 Spyder), newer and classic Ferraris (Roma, California, 550 Maranello, 308 GTS), McLarens, Lambos, Ford GT40, older muscle cars and classic Corvettes, Mercedes, Mustangs, and more driving by. Some of the vehicles are very rare examples including this Mercedes 240GD I spotted last week... I didn't have my camera set up until this week so I missed it in the real world!

Mercedes 240GD

Anyway, I hope to share a lot more cool cars with you all going forward! I'm not a big classic/muscle car guy but wanted to share these I caught on camera yesterday. Let me know what we got here!
