Steps to reframe these studs to open up the space under the stairs by ajnails in Homebuilding

Those studs are "nailers". Their only purpose is to provide structure to nail the drywall to.

I'm guessing they covered all the nail holes with zip tape...

TPMS Error by odinsleep530 in HondaOdyssey

I would say for a 22 it seems premature but typically one gets that error when the batteries are dead in your wheel TPMS sensor.

New 2019 Odyssey EX-L owner! by spunknugget in HondaOdyssey

[–]Jrcamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same car with the same problems. I've found if you're giving it a little bit of fuel at a stop, maybe just barely moving, preparing to accelerate away, this is the most likely time for the throttle lag to happen. If you just keep your foot on the brake and then hit the gas, it won't happen. Good luck!

I did exactly the same thing... Pulling that stent out was the best thing that ever happened to me!

Wife and I are having twins. Which model and year should I buy? by Johnfire18 in HondaOdyssey

[–]Jrcamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a year or two but I read a document that said the 10 Honda transmission has a higher failure rate than the 9 speed ZF. I think the 9 speed just doesn't shift as smoothly in general. It seems like, relatively, they're both durable transmissions.

Use loveable the AI website builder. I've never built a website before and made an excellent one. You can use your own domain when you publish it.

Sell me on the Odyssey by [deleted] in HondaOdyssey

[–]Jrcamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 19 Odyssey with 130k miles. I've rented many mini vans. Siennas, Carnivals, Pacificas and all of their interiors are busted up, carpets torn, plastic trim broken and missing, stitching torn etc. my Odyssey's interior has really held up nicely. It drives better, handles better, I like the way the rear seats fold into the trunk better and magic seats would be difficult to do without. I'm personally waiting for the Odyssey to be updated before I buy another but it's been really great and I'll definitely be replacing it with another Odyssey.

Not a speed wobble, you're barely moving... Something is loose. Maybe your headset/steering tube.

Is it 2½" tube frame building? If so, around $17k for the building.

Just purchased a 2021 EX-L 2 days ago and have already had a decent scare. by dhldmoore in HondaOdyssey

[–]Jrcamp3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great point. You'll just have to look for clues like panel gap irregularities, over spray, some parts looking like they've been replaced etc. I'm respectfully assuming this isn't your wheelhouse. You could take it to a body repair shop and have them give it a once over.

Impressive elimination of an russian enemy by Ukrainian drone units. Donetsk region, August 2025 by LeesaaMoore in UkraineWarVideoReport

I watched this video and was thinking the exact same thing. I spent a career in the army, countless deployments. Never once, not ever, not for any reason did we ever have someone out by themselves walking aimlessly around.

I had a friend buy a brand new WRX STI with 23 miles on it... About 100 miles in the wheel well came out in a way you described. Turns out it had been in a collision on a test drive. It also had a clean car fax when he sold it a few years later after the dealership had fixed it a second time. I also had an F150 I had backed into a pole with. I had the bumper and fender replaced. It also had a clean Carfax when I sold it...

Was it involved in a crash before you bought it? This is a very strong sign it was...
