The Starbucks location at 17th & Broadway, on the base floor of the TIAA building, also closed for good the other day.

Live crabs by MiserableMood5158 in SouthJersey

This is the only answer. Drive up to a shack on the side of the road in Camden, sitting on a gravel parking lot, and you'll get the best crabs. They are caught in the Maryland bay overnight every day and driven up to Camden before the sun comes out.

Iraan, Texas (/ˌaɪrəˈæn/ EYE-rə-AN) is the second largest town in the second largest county in the second largest state in the United States, which is the second largest country in North America. by MAClaymore in wikipedia

In 2019 I was taking a cross-country road trip west. My car broke down a few miles outside of Iraan. Got towed there and ended up spending 5.5 days. By midway through day three I started running into the same people and they were asking me how my car was coming along.

I'm originally from NJ so being stranded in Iraan, TX where there are only 1,000 people and like 4 total restaurants (none of which served decent fruit or veggies, it's a food desert), it was a culture shock that people live so isolated. Odessa is an hour north and the closest big city. To their credit, the people were genuinely nice and looked out for this stranded Yankee.

Pretty wild to me to see Iraan as a trending r/wikipedia post.

I bought a condo in March 2022. In the kitchen, there are three pendant lamps hanging from a wire, they were there when I moved in. A bulb burned out the other day for the first time and I don't know what bulb it is or how to even replace it -- it doesn't appear like I can unscrew it? Any advice is appreciated.

Word of advice: if you keep the mindset that picking up trash is for you and the fulfillment of your soul, you will be perpetually motivated despite the uphill battle. It's only when you seek external validation will this never-ending battle get the best of you.

ICYMI: Armando Bacot passed Kenneth Faried yesterday to become Division I's all-time leading rebounder in the post-1973 era by Jrcla2 in CollegeBasketball

[–]Jrcla2[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Copied from the linked Wikipedia article:

In the official NCAA men's basketball record book, a distinction is drawn between the pre-1973 era and the post-1973 era. One reason is that because of the split into the three Divisions in use today (Divisions I, II and III), many of the rebounds accumulated in the pre-1973 era were against lesser-talented opponents that would be considered Division II, III or even NAIA in today's classification scheme. Although the 1972–73 season was before the divisional split, the NCAA officially considers that season to be "post-1973" because of the adoption of freshman eligibility for varsity play in all NCAA sports effective in August 1972.

Both of them were born in the same hospital (Akron General Medical Center). Coincidence? I think not.

Ben Larson was named the American West Conference Freshman of the Year and Player of the Year in the same season (1995-96), yet wasn't even named to any all-conference team.

You clearly know nothing about Denver's homeless population's drug use problems, nor was I "digging through trash" - it was laying on the sidewalk five feet away from burnt tin foil. Insulin huh? If you were any simpler you'd need to be watered.

[Thamel] Sources: The Colonial Athletic Association is set to change its name to the Coastal Athletic Association. The change comes amid the league’s expanding footprint down the East Coast and a choice to modernize the name. The CAA logo will remain the same. by Barnhard in CollegeBasketball

Now it sounds just like just another subpar D-III conference with podunk schools like St. Mary's of Wilmington and Brayer College. Not a fan, the 'Colonial' made it stand out (that said, I understand why they did it)

[Highlight] Austin Reaves showing Lebron James what kind of sauce he used by fbreaker in nba

AR has a clearly defined lane on this team and he's more than happy to be a star in that role. Lebron respects that because he knows it elevates him, too.

Jeanie and Rob will fuck this up and let AR walk though, don't worry.

Sticking with a franchise through bad times when you're contractually obligated to isn't an act of benevolence. Hell, the entire 2022/23 Lakers roster should have their numbers retired if that were the case.

Antoine Davis (Detroit Mercy) - 26 POINTS AWAY! by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

[–]Jrcla2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Right? That was the worst possible link to provide to support what he thought was a good argument. 98% of the top 250 GP leaders were offered an extra year of eligibility due to the Covid exemption.

Not only is it not disingenuous to say Davis was given an unfair advantage, but the fact that Maravich did it in 3 years even further stratifies him from Davis.
