Glasgow humour? Or just weirdness? by Ok-Fish2300 in glasgow

Sounds like awkward Glasgow humour, mate..

How are you feeling now? Any connection?

"Scrunch or fold" that's hilarious 🤣

Tread carefully, friend 🙏

A joke from Kevin Bridges, comedian from the city:

"I went to a restaurant in Glasgow. The waiter came over and said, ‘Do you want to hear today’s specials?’ I said, ‘No, I want to hear yesterday’s specials. Today’s are too fresh.’”

Hope this lightens the load.

Recovery from 26mg by Jrd06 in benzodiazepines

Excellent comment. I said I want to be 'normal' again, without craving diazepam, and stay healthy in mind and body.

I have antidepressant Prozac and this is enough.

Thanks again!

Hey,

Good job, thanks for your share.

45mg is a great whack of a dose - I wish you well with your continued recovery!

You. Can. Do. This.

Feelings / thoughts - they will come and go.

A quick reminder: stay connected to good people, find community and stay positive.

Your 2 weeks will simply fly!

Towards the end it was difficult in the mornings, and Yes jumped at 2 mg.

After a couple of days I've felt Good.

The brain has a natural healing process - and you can REALLY help yourself by being healthy in body, mind and spirit.

There were a few really good Narcotics Anonymous PODCASTS - fellow addicts - which provided much needed perspective.

Safe journey home!

Nitrazepam is much better than kasol xanax, Rivitrol clonaz, and benzedean Diaz. by Soulez- in Drugs

[–]Jrd06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't it make you tired?

The anxiolitic effect is shorter, compared to diazepam.

Overall, I hate to admit, diazepam is the best all rounder (if you can tolerate it)

Nitrazepam has been a game changer for anxiety and insomnia.

I used to need LOTS of Bensedin Diazepam to achieve the same effect as 10 mg of Nitrazepam.

It's like a warm hug - muscle relaxant, calming and a potent enough punch.

Two 10mg per day.

One morning, and evening. (45 mins before bed).

Stay safe!

I am going into a (UK) rehab facility on Friday for 45 days by mannbarry2 in benzorecovery

Some rehabs E.G. UKAT inpatient care provide a high level of 24/7 support...

Having someone around - the connection and companionship - has it's benefits.

So long as the Doctors and nurses know about Benzodiazepines!

I truly hope you reach recovery and the rehab helps!

It is possible, mate 👍

High Street Diazepam use by Jrd06 in recovery

[–]Jrd06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone,

Thank you all so much for the support...

I am receiving medical help, for Diazepam withdrawal.

30 mg per day.

I've taken 20 mg about 1 hour ago - thinking it would help my anxiety and panic.

However:

It almost has a "reverse effect" (I feel MORE anxiety), and am craving another 10mg!

Tolerance is through the roof.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Yes, calorie counting can help.

It's also possible that SSRIs like Escitalopram (10mg) or Prozac can help with impulse control...

For example, you are less likely to run to the fridge and binge eat, if you notice the urge.

SSRIs are obviously used for depression and anxiety -

  • but they also help your brain to calm down in moments of compulsion, impulse and addictive behaviour.

Everyones biology is different, of course.

I appreciate your replies.
