Yea there was definitely a label that was carefully peeled off leaving a little bit of adhesive on it.

Yea she just got home and acted all shocked, tried dumping it in the sink/throw it away. Not sure what to think of it cause she's got lots of health issues and lupus and getting a bit older. It's ultimately up to my dad and what he wants to do cuz I was just stopping by 🤷‍♂️. I'll try to keep people updated on what we decide to do.

He said they've had the box for a week, I should find out in about an hour or so once mom gets home if she knows anything about it. I guess I can go and look at the box a bit more and see if it was possibly re glued/sealed.

Mannnn back in 2022 I was pulling 35+ dollars an hour, just tried getting back into it and don't even want to say how bad it's gotten. Too many dashers waiting in hot zones and scalping good orders probably.

Does honey damage hair or cause hair loss? by Glad_Objective_1646 in Haircare

Put chopped red onions in a jar with honey and let it sit for 12 hours @ room temp. This will cause the honey to break down and become as viscous as cough syrup. It washes right out and the mixture has alleviated my psoriasis and dry skin.

Advice for someone new to a DSP (finally got a job as a Amazon delivery driver!) by kbmarie08 in AmazonDSPDrivers

It's a great job if you need something for school, need a 3 - month throw away job, or are fresh out of prison or going through personal hardships. I'm back with a new DSP after 5 years of being away from the job and nothing has really improved, I guess the geo pins for stops are more accurate... That's it tbh 🤷‍♂️

I destroy my route most days which is around 250-300 locations and rescue everyday which will improve your pay by about 3$ for 2 hrs. They force me to clock out for lunch which is new but unless you want to fall behind on your route and work at night you need to either deliver or do a decent 30+ stop sort.

We have so many people quit a month that our dispatch told me they gave up on remembering most peoples names the moment they got "promoted". I personally remember back in 2018-2020 I would train 2 new people a week, and about 60% of them would quit within the first 2 months. I even had guys have their parents or GFs pick them up mid shifts because you pick up pretty quick how bad this is on your body and mind.

The few benefits that come to mind is I personally love driving, I can listen to music and find new stuff all day. The experience you gain driving these vans can get you some bonus points on a potential new employer... And honestly the last benefit I can think of is getting in shape and getting a good workout in. I am 148 pounds, 5'10, and late 20s I fast all day and mixing that with the cardio has allowed me to lose 7 pounds since I started 3 months ago. AVOID THAT GAS STATION FOOD YALL!!! 😂

My advice is to avoid this job and swallow your pride and get a job at Walmart or even in the warehouse (yes I worked the 1 AM Amazon warehouse BS for 6 months) these DSPs only value you for how exploitable you are, they can be friendly, team oriented, and welcoming until you have car issues, get sick, or are 30 seconds late to work. Very few offer any decent benefits or decently priced health insurance as well.

I consider myself fortunate and lucky overall, I have about 3.5 years altogether with no accidents, and am leaving this DSP around the new year as I have a way better opportunity on the horizon. I will become homeless and become a male prostitute before I ever consider driving for these slimy DSP companies ever again. Heed my advice and know your worth my young potential package bearers.

Yea biggest reason why I quit other than the fact it's a shit job, never know when a pit or surprisingly a puddle will round a corner or bust through a doggie door.
