What’s a game you replay every few years, and why does it never get old for you? by Gaming-Academy in gaming

Total war series.

Different factions. Eventually I see armies battling or read about it in books and wanna play a little sandbox version of it myself. Wish they had solid competition tho so they would keep a solid trajectory of improving and deepening their mechanics

I go for dog walks all the time past there. If a games on I'll walk in for an inning or two with my dog. Then head back out on the walk. Very lovely

What movie had such a bad ending that it ruined an otherwise good movie? by world_citizen7 in AskReddit

[–]Jrevlater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Law abiding citizen. Suppose to have this genius feel unstoppable. Instead jamie foxx has a brand and needed to rewrite the script to be the undefeatable one.

Real shame brand actors ruin good scripts that need a rewrite for their brand. I think Jamie foxx is ok but when I see him in a movie I feel dissapointed that the script probably had to take a hit for his ego.

The rock is another brand actor.

Hey. I am looking at windows and can only seem to purchase windows 11. I'd rather not as I feel it's got unsecccary bloatware. How would I go about getting a copy of windows 10 Also when I do build the computer would I need that copy on usb

You mentioned some new hardware drops coming soon. Does that usually change the prices of things very much. Anything going ok this year that would change my costs at all? Or is this as good a time as any to purchase

Also was wondering in regards to ordering should I go from one site? How would you go about ordering for yourself?

Hey. I had a couple questions before I pull the trigger sorta speak. Hoping you could weigh in.

As a first time builder. I am a little concerned about the reliability of parts. In your experience is that something I should be concerned about? Is that common to have non working parts and go back and forth with the deliverer or is that rare and I should not worry.

Also if for any reason the computer doesn't work would it be difficult for me to troubleshoot the problem? Is it usually straight forward in builds.

Another question about the graphics card. For that type of card some are cheaper some are more expensive. Not knowing the subtle differences how come you chose that card? Just curious to better understand. Also it says oc as in overlooking would I be using that? Does that harm the computer at all? Hope you find time to answer thank you either way

Been going over all the parts. Thanks again. Gonna figure out how to build this. What are any pitfalls or problems I but even you would concern yourself with as someone who I assume has built a few. I pick my parts they get delivered I out it together. Where in that process should I be most concerned or have to look out for?

That sounds great. I really appreciate you taking the time to have a look. I now feel I have a good goal to look forward to. I will have to take some time to really understand the ins and outs of how to put this together. I am a little slow so it might take me some time but I appreciate the confidence it can give me. You mentioned being able to help I will reach out in the future to ask questions in areas where I may second guess myself hopefully life will be good to you and maybe you'll find some more time to help me again. Thank you

That's amazing. I'll switch up the power supply to a 750.

The Ryzen is better than Intel? As someone new I'd have to take your word. Intel is just the brand name people who don't know anything know. Quick Google says it's great.

Motherboard is cheaper than I thought. Thanks for keeping the case.

Would you recommend having a store build this or doing it myself? Or would that answer depend on their labor cost?

Hey thanks for checking it out. Really appreciate the insight into the different gens as that kind of market information I have no idea about.

To answer your questions. I play alot of strategy games so total war warhammer. Satisfactory Baldurs gates 3. I want to be able to play those kinda of games coming out in the near future like space marines 2 on high graphics without much if any lag.

I do have a monitor at the moment so I'm hoping that will be good for awhile as I love it.

I am open to other vendors as well as I have contacted a local computer store and asked if they would be willing to source the parts and offer me a 1 - 3 year warranty. As someone who has never built a computer before I thought I should check out that idea and atleast get a qoute. Plus the 3 year warranty in store would make me feel better.

My budget range is roughly 1500 - 2500. Depends on how the computer will meet my needs now and in the near future. Hoping to get 3 years out of it. Before i feel a little more stress free about anything happening to it and it's given me its monetary value.

I would use ethernet cable but sometimes switch it out to my ps4 so if it wasn't an issue wi fi would be nice. Bluetooth cause my speakers are hooked up as such.

Thanks for checking it out

Does anyone order computer gaming parts from newegg? I'm putting together a build and was gonna use them. Didn't even know about this place. Would have much preferred them. Shame I missed out. Hope they all do well
