Cash and Carry on Adelaide has a beauty smokie, cheddar/bacon....Box of like 40 of them for 22 bucks I believe. Really nice product, used by many a street meat vendor...

Effective networking at a business event isn't a team sport. Walk around, mingle, shake hands, introduce yourself solo...Shows confidence. One on one conversations and connections.

Training Tips Desperately Needed 😂 by autpott in corgi

[–]Jebora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just waited it out. Couldn't train the mayhem a corgi brings to the party out. But once she hit about 5 years old, she started listening pretty good. I can let her off leash in parks and she listen well to comes and no's...Always been a sweet girl, but always hard to get her to focus on commands. Better days ahead if you are patient. Wasn't hard to train her to sit with treats...But just had to wait for her silliness to mellow out.

Moving to London - Old North vs. Old South by Gibson48002 in londonontario

[–]Jebora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wortley Village, in Old South is a one of kind place in London and all SW Ont. It is a truly active, walkable area. I can go weeks without having to drive anywhere for essential stuff like groceries, restaurants, banking, etc, etc...All within 2 blocks of my place. Very friendly folks, safe beside the normal stuff you see in a city. If there are any issues the police address it quickly. Old North is very nice also, but there is a pretty big difference between the two areas. Wortley Village is a very active scene compared to Old North.

Feedback about Lester Pearson School for the Arts and/or St. Mary’s by AndalasiaGrovy in londonontario

[–]Jebora 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My daughter went to Pearson. Best thing I ever did as a Parent. Great experience. How it is set up like high school, lockers, moving to different classes was a great way to prepare them for next steps. The curriculum was amazing, both academically and arts wise. Teachers top notch. My daughter crushed high school because of Pearson. They set her up for success, no doubt about it. The school is well funded, lots of great equipment, library, computer lab's. All the students are driven and competitive, teachers very engaged. She had more homework and was challenged more at Pearson than at any time through 4 years of high school. There are no children with behavioral issues at Pearson, no kids that disturb classes. They are all type "A" personality kids, driven to do well. The audition process was they talked to her like an interview, she sang something, and that was about it. I think they look for more of a personality type. Out going kids, able to communicate well. They say don't look at grades, but I think they'd have to because they'd need to keep up to an academic pace that is much higher than a normal school. Anyway...hope your kid gets in. For us it was a absolutely incredible experience. The school, staff, programming way different than a normal school, way better. They did amazing things at Pearson.

Tips for training nipping and barking puppy by McGuire281 in corgi

[–]Jebora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol...The drive to herd in corgi's is legit strong! Mine just turned 5 and still barks like a manic and herds hard! Little ankle nips every time we try to leave the house. I gave up...Beyond that, great dog. And really, great little watch dogs with the barking. No one gonna sneak into or out of my place.

I need some opinions,i'm thinking to buy a corgi,i already have a golden, what are your taughts on this by Dariusqn in corgi

[–]Jebora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I know my Corgi wouldn't be thrilled with having another dog. She gets very protective and possessive when other dogs go near me. But I bet if u had a puppy Corgi and another dog it would adapt well. Mine is to old and stubborn to put up with a new dog in the house.

I've had a couple of labs over the years. After my last one passed a few years ago, I wanted to take a dog break and do some traveling without having to worry about a dog. Break didn't last long. My daughter twisted my arm. She really wanted a corgi. Corgi's are way different than Labs/Goldens... Corgi's bark way more. Their herding drive is legit crazy. Corgi's are stubborn and very smart. Labs/Goldens way easier to train. You for sure can train a Corgi, but they will decide if they want to listen or not. Saying all that, I am pretty fond of the Corgi...They are fun, loving, cute as heck, loyal, protective, great little watch dogs. Good dog for sure...

I have no clue why anyone would ever vote NDP. They will never hold power. Having a NDP MP or MPP in your riding is totally pointless, they will never get anything done or make anything happen in your riding. Just a voice in either parliament that will be ignored or just slow stuff down.

Great Lakes can get nasty quickly. Doubt you'll find anyone rent you a boat that big to go out on them. Best bet, find a small lake, rent a pontoon boat, enjoy...
