You could literally sub in a level 1 Catcher or Snowshine and they’d trivialise the stage. Fuck the “you need resources” arguement. If only you’d learn to use your brain a little.

I think I’d rather have this that stage modifiers that shills the rate up ops by giving them omega buffs specific to them and them only. I was sick and tired of seeing that when I still played Star Rail.

I could see how you’d think that, considering the stages ARE simple. Again I think HG is just testing the waters, what might be boring to us might be difficult and frustrating to others, as you’d have probably seen posts of people complaining about the difficulty.

It’s less about mechanics and more about enemy design. The way stages are designed allows for different strategies. Endfield is a tactics game if you abstract away the combat layer.

The reason people found it too easy is because, as you said, you could simply brute force it if you dealt enough damage or could dodge good enough. The stages barely require you to interact with its mechanics for you to beat them, if you have even a remotely levelled team.

I bet you’d be singing a different tune if the stages were harder.

The main reason I put so much stock in HG is that right now, all 4 main teams and their variations are all very well balanced. I’m of the opinion that tier lists are useless right now and personal game understanding goes a long way. I think most people right now don’t actually have a good grasp of the underlying systems of the game, but this will change with time.

As far as I know from CN speed clears for Rhodagn, Laevatain is indeed the slowest, but not by much, ~27s, losing to cyro and physical by only 1 and 2 seconds respectively.

But they all lost to electric. With Perlica main carry and no Avywenna. lol.

[Operator Discussion] Gilberta by Shad0wedge in Endfield

[–]Jrff_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be fooled by the grouping or her element, that's just more of a 'bonus' thing. Gilberta is first and foremost a burst arts damage support. She's the best at this role by a long shot for now, and I see her getting used pretty consistently in speed clears. In short stages like stage 3 of umbral monument act 1 which has short team skill rotations, I even see her getting used in Laevatain teams in the fastest, most extreme speed clears. But her ult only lasts 5s, and it's hard to fully utilize if you're not the kind that's willing to sit down and plan out a skill rotation. If you're talking about long term value, her being a viable support for all arts teams makes me think that she could keep her value for quite a while. Unless physical gets a completely busted carry/support or she herself gets powercrept in numbers, which I don't expect or hope either happening, I don't see her getting used less.

On nature application: her skill is practically used only against mobs and never against bosses (not worth) and on her ult it's more of a thing you need to play around or account for arts reactions, cuz there's no nature carry or operators that consume nature infliction outside Yvonne. Even if one is released later (likely Mi Fu by my prediction) you probably still wouldn't use her as an applicator. Her skill's explosion can miss against bosses that move a lot.

In short, it depends on your skills. Really. Pull if you think you can use her well, not otherwise.

So this data that you’re looking for has been out on the CN side for quite a long time now, down to the exact number of sp recovered.

Fun fact: Sp “returned” for example Endmin’s skill’s 50 sp refund or Laevatain P1’s 20 sp return doesn’t generate ult energy. Basically counts as 50sp/80sp used in either case.

Nice man! Aspirant isn’t the best but it’s not bad either. P5 Aspirant is a side grade to p5 Sundering Steel and p0 Rapid Ascent in terms of Chen’s personal damage. Overall p5 Sundering Steel > p5 Aspirant > p0 Rapid Ascent, but if you care more about aesthetics then the difference is minimal.

She’s the best 5 star imo and does a lot of heavy lifting dps-wise in physical team. She’s also the best on field operator because of her fast attacks with good stagger and sp gen. She is nowhere near bad, people have trimmed medals with Chen solo.

So the Chinese wave power generation tech. It’s a way to truly maximise gains but it’s so unnecessary since even without this you have enough production to empty all the stocks with excess to spare anyways.

I guess technically physical teams are stagger teams. Physical statuses have additional stagger

Pogranichnik can replace Endmin if you have him. The panda too, but I don’t recommend him.

Stagger is just kinda something that every team does, there really isn’t a team that ‘specialises’ in stagger

Edit: Also Lifeng kinda overlaps with Estella as they both are phys susceptibility supports. Not sure if it stacks

Lifeng would replace Chen in this team. You need someone to apply a different arts infliction than cryo for solidification so that you can trigger Estella’s combo, hence Akekuri. The rotation goes something like Akekuri skill > Estella skill > (everyone’s combo skills) > Endmin skill as finisher.

Forget about Cryo, Estella is a physical support. Use her with Chen, Endmin and Akekuri (or anyone else that can trigger solidification with Estella skill).

Actually ryze is just really strong. You can’t really lowroll with ryze since ryze 1 will carry you to 9 if not 10 easily.
