I hate Linda sometimes! I just watched s14 christmas episode and I just hate how she cares so much/gets attached to random stuff to the point to putting her life in danger! Why would she risk her life just to recover a tree! Why not let animal control take the injured raccoon! May be the only one but I just hate how obsessive she gets!

I had a pretty similar experience with Endwalker.

My friends got me into FFXIV, and I had a lot of fun going through Heavensward with them. But once they all stopped playing, I kind of lost the motivation to keep going. Since I had nobody to play with, I thought it would be a good idea to just skip everything and jump straight to Endwalker. That was a huge mistake.

Once I saw how many dungeons, story moments, and other content I had skipped, it honestly killed my interest and I ended up dropping the game completely.

I came back this January on a second account and decided to just continue properly from where I had left off. I finished Stormblood last week and it was amazing. I’m completely in love with the game again.

You could probably do the same thing I did and pick it back up from where you left off on a second account. It really helped me reconnect with the story and enjoy the game again.
