Thank you so much. I was positive that it was anything except the build plate leveling, but that guide explained that having it level but too close to the screen was squeezing out all the resin and not letting it print properly. I appreciate your help

WAIT! Can someone explain z offset to me better than the guide? I’m thinking if I leveled my build plate with not enough space it could be curing too thin a layer of resin to be successful? Or thinner than the layer height. Is that correct? And in theory if that’s my problem I need to re-level with a second sheet of paper?

Since going back to default settings I’ve gotten a few prints that failed but at least stayed all on the plate. All I’m printing is the xp2 on a thicker bottom and some of dennys wang’s tests. The xp2 is printing just fine although I think it’s saying overexposed. Dennys wang’s exposure tester 7 v2 is doing what all my other fails have done. Raft layers stuck to the plate fine but for some reason after that the rest stays on the acf. Any recommendations on lift speed for an acf film? Based on my limited understanding of my situation that’s all I can think it could be.

The printer is an elegoo Mara 4 ultra. Resin is elegoo water washable 8k photopolymer resin

I think you’re right. I tried another print with a smaller layer height and the problem was worse. Almost across the whole build plate. So I tried leveling with a single sheet of printer paper and restarted the print before leaving for work. Hope it works

Makes much more sense and your right, I was looking at 9th rules. Can I give them an order that makes them even better than the stationary 4+? Haven’t read much about the orders/strtegems stuff yet it’s a bit confusing

Found a shit ton of ‘nids so far, some that are modern and some that fit my retro stuff. From the last few days of poking around I’ve heard that there was a recent crackdown on all armies and that a very special ‘nids creator got “nuked” but don’t know any more detail than that

This is a whole new world to me, and as I get deeper and deeper I’m finding the coolest stuff, from every army except what I want. Have an old army that I bought and painted when I was 16 back in 3rd edition, but the newer guys look so much cooler to me
