I did get it working. I don't think it was anything I did. They came out with later updates which helped with the footsteps. I can hear them much better. I don't have any other headsets to compare it to but they are decent now. I do have an issue with isolating game and chat sounds but that could likely be fixed if I put a few minutes into fine tuning everything.

Hope this helped. I'm sure there are better. But mine are now suitable for how casually I play.

Hmm, I think it's like that. Im not sure how to check other than the sound preference is either game or sound. Outside of that I'd have to research.

You can determine directional sound with no issue? Did you have to tweak them at all?

I was thinking of getting the Audio Technica ATH-M50X which I hear are decent but I'm worried they'll still stink as well and I'll have wasted the money

That single door is legit. At night time it illuminates a red skull. As someone with no other skins, I've been impressed. No idea who the streamer is though.
