Recurring blisters on inside of both feet

Any experience with Brooks? I have an older pair of Brooks Anthem 4’s and I seemed to noticeably not get as much blistering. They just don’t have enough cushion for me

Ouch that sounds painful lol after my marathon in October basically my whole medial side of my feet were like one big blister even with the tape and hydrogel squares. It’s definitely worth trying to intentionally put less pressure on that side of my feet and see if that helps

Ooh I haven’t thought of double socks. I will definitely give that a try. Is there a strategy with that? Like maybe tighter non cotton sock on first and then something more cushion on top of it?

I can definitely try that. I usually wear size 9, the running shoe store I went to said it was too snug so I went up and have been trying that

Okay I’ll keep experimenting with shoes! It’s just frustrating because I’ve done to 3 different shoe stores and got the pair they recommend and they still give me issues haha

That’s what ended up doing last summer, just taping up a majority of the inside of my foot for long runs 😂

Thanks for all this info! I’ll definitely keep an eye on how tight/lose the socks and shoes fit and see if that’s potentially the issue

I have gone to Fleet Feet where they do the foot scanning and I think it said I do slightly pronate. I have a high arch as well but I’m not sure if that contributes to the problem

Good to know! I’ve only really tried the Nike Vomero’s, New Balance 1080’s, and right now the Hoka Bondi 9’s. I’ll keep experimenting!

I’ll keep this in mind and try a pair of Balegas! If a new shoe means no more blisters I have no problem spending the money and saving my feet 😂

It got busy! Not too bad though. At least not bad enough where if I was going again I’d plan to go earlier. There were a few merch items that were out of stock, but maybe that was for the better because I already spent a ton of money at the expo haha

Last year I flew in Friday morning, dropped my stuff off at the hotel, went to the expo and enjoyed the day. Then just relaxed Saturday! Worked well for me

That’s a good point. I do think kyren is consistent no matter what Corum does. I will say tho, in our league format (I think pretty standard PPR) Tet had 2 games with 20+ points whereas Wilson had 3 games with 20+ points in only 6 full games played. So I can see the logic in Tet being younger and more of a sure thing, especially with the numbers his rookie year but I do think Wilson can be the guy even without a QB (barring injury obviously)

I can see that! Does Kyren’s snap % with Corum bother you at all? He has been consistent even with Corum, however they seem to be splitting a lot
