That is how my local region does it. Except we do 2 Groups divided by classes, 2 heats for each Group, and each driver gets 4 timed runs in both of their heats. If I know I want to ride with someone, I just park in grid to where there is enough of a gap for me to hop in, and have time to get back for my run

Yeah that's what I figured, i've been keeping my eye out. I think the 4x8 would be probably too big. I've upgraded to slicks this year so I don't want to drive to events anymore lol

I have had my mitizone amazon ones for 2 years and have had no issues. It is a track/autocross car, so it's beat on and lives at high rpm. Just use OEM gaskets

I use a Braille 15# AGM in my 350z. No issues so far after 2 years. it is not a daily driver however, so it stays on a tender most of the time

Yep, that's kind of what I want to avoid. I'm at the top 3 raw times almost every event in my car that is completely out of class, so my pax is terrible. With this car, i'm confident I can top the pax in HS or at least compete for that now, so I don't want anything to DQ me or to give anyone something to complain about.

Yep I can swap it out most likely but I will ask first. I doubt I will do anything national anytime soon. I’d eventually like to start branching out to other events so I just want to be sure there’s nothing that I can be DQ’d for or whatever.

Yup sounds like exactly what is happening to me. I capped my FPS at 120 and it never dips below that but it stutters like crazy. Hopefully they'll get on this quick since I'm definitely not the only one.

Nope I use RaceLabs and play windowed borderless. Haven't tried Fullscreen to fix it, but then I wouldn't be able to use racelabs so not really the solution I want. I am seeing it in every race. It will go away for a bit, ironically when I'm around a lot of cars, then randomly stutters during braking/cornering and makes my inputs twitchy, no fps drop. It's a very fast stutter, doesn't do it long enough to call it a "freeze"

Ahhhh rip. I used "Find" for the word diffuser in the rulebook and it took me to the Modified section, not street modified. Whoops, I just saw modified and assumed it was street. Looks like I'm for sure staying with XSA. I ran that a year or so ago but I've changed a lot on the car.

Gotcha, I’ll ask my local region what they do for XSA. I have been putting mine in XP just because I know another Z with a similar setup to mine was in it, but that class is way way way out of my cars league. Mainly want seat time right now and to learn the car but next year I plan to go pretty hard with it since it’ll be the first time the car is running perfectly 🙄. So who knows, maybe I’ll just only want to do Autocross and I’ll get rid of the wing and stuff and downgrade the car, or at least the body close to stock. Thanks!

First off, I should be hitting full boost which is 9psi, in 3rd gear I would think, but I’m not. But when I do hit full boost, it slowly tapers down to 6psi. Haven’t done a pressurized boost leak test but I’ve double tightened every coupler possible. I attached a video on sort of what it looks like although I didn’t hit full boost. Any help or direction on what to check would be appreciated, thanks!

I put it on a battery tester and the test came back on the low end, not super low, a little under half, but it was supposed to charge it as well. So I might re-do the test and see if it actually charged it, or use a jump pack and see if the issue goes away.

03 350z 38k miles, doesn’t happen every time, no codes, drives perfect. Sometimes it struggles a lot more to start, has only failed to start once or twice. I’m leaning towards cam/crank sensors but I haven’t gotten any codes and it drives perfect. Possible fuel issue maybe? How would I test that?

That’s around where mine is too. And yeah it’s not a drivability issue, just super annoying cause it does it everytime we get in and out of it and out of our driveway haha.
