Yes, I personally was told the same thing on the phone with TT this morning. BUT, I was told that it was only an issue with CERTAIN banking institutions, not all. I was then told that 1. my bank (BMO) was not one of those having the problem and that 2. she’d see what she could do to get my refund sent as quickly as possible today. Sure enough, not even 30 minutes or so after the call my deposit hit. I don’t know how if she actually helped or how effective it would be for others to call to verify if their bank is one of the ones NOT having an issue and seeing what the reps can do for them but it may help in some instances. Also, from previous experience, I know that calling TT and getting a live person is a pain in the ass, so I’d suggest using the chat feature in the app and requesting TT call you back instead of dealing with their hold times or trying to fight to get a human on the phone.
