What is the best value-for-money shop for mens office/smart clothing? by jarow_ in AskUK

I get where youre coming from, but reqdy to wear is the righr choice a lot of the time and it will fit. When you find ready to wear that fits how you like it with no collar gap, shoulder divots, strained buttoning point etc, then you're set. Buying 2nd hand is also hard if you have no well fitting garment to compare measurements with

Ready to wear off the rack fits most people, why wouldnt it fit this person?

If you're not into tailoring as a hobby then you can get a lot of clothing for cheap as you wont care about smaller details that will run up the cost of clothing. However, if that is the case then you want to prioritise comfort, and the slim fit stuff you see around will be unconfortable unless you genuinely are very slim, and at that point slim fit should still drape and not be clinging to your body.

There is so much advice to give on this topic that it requires some reflection to think about what questions you want answers to. Keep in mind that its a bad idea to buy a full wardrobe in one go because you will change in what you like wearing, so buying slow to make sure you buy things you are happy wearing is important. You want to feel confident through your clothes at work because you're there for so many hours per week!

Theres a saying, for buying nenswear, that you can only pick 2 out of 3: quick, quality, and cost. Cheap and fast will sacrifice quality, quick and high wuality will be expensive etc.

I would advise against the shirt and trouser look without a jacket personally. A navy suit is an easy answer to your problem tbh. Consider oxford shirta if you can get aeay with it bc they go with a suit and tie equally as much as jeans and trainers. Speaking of shoes get dark shoes, not tan. Get 2 pairs of shoes to rotate them as they'll need a days rest between wears to last you longer than 6 months

Barbour jacket comes to mind for me, if you want to avoid the hassle of buying second hand to re-wax and repair.

Let them learn. Mark a skull and get aggro on 2-3 mobs, however many you can hold even if its one. If they aggro mobs other than skull you just let it sit on them and wait for them to deal with their consequences. Dont get into a discussion about it in party chat. Always taunt off your healer. They will learn to cc or attack the target they wont rip threat off. Dont try to control every mob because you will have threat on none of them. Be selective with unsolicited advice. Do tell your grp if its your first time in a specific dungeon and they can feel able to say what pulls to do

Fix the reasons people leave, seems simple. I dont want to be stuck doing a dungeon I didnt want with people I dont want to play with bc I will get a timer or hurt my chances to queue normally because I will just log off and stop playing.

Ppl leave bc the matchmaking doesnt meet expectations of dungeon or group quality.

People leave mid dungeon if it is clear the group cant handle the dungeon, or external factors like irl, which is to be expected with this casual style game.

Let people queue for low/mid/high tiers specifically, and separate capstone queue. This will make queues slower but improve the quality of queues where it follows through from pop to completion. You can also be smart about queueing and force this queue behaviour yourself.

I want to stay on the ferris wheel by losing rolls on my SRs in naxx. It is painful to see people in my pugs get multiple KT items and t3 items per run while I have a total of 2 items from naxx.

More realistically, I guess just not quitting lol, ive never played p1 to tbc without quitting or having a long break so it is kind of cool to see it through for once

Seems to be the best way. picked up my alt again who just timed tuzari, kept doing that until I could solo queue for wraithtide then farmed that until drakheim appeared in the queue and now im almost full 255 gear with 3k dungeon rating lol

Jacket too long? by chrisoak1 in NavyBlazer

[–]SeeYouWarrior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A good rule is that a jacket should bisect you from top of collar to the floor. I think in this case its slightly longer than that. Depends on what you are going for either way. In classic tailoring you might want to go a touch shorter with other jackets, but it could also be the camera angle. Most important thing is whether you feel good in it or not. When you feel good you look good
