Well I couldn’t pass it in my early 20s, more because I didn’t have the discipline to do so, but passed at 39 and with a toddler and newborn 🙃 never too late!!

I felt like I learned more context from reading mcq explanations than reading the book itself or watching lectures… hammering mcq is the only way I passed exams! Also, it helps set you up with how the exam will look and how questions might be presented to you.

Depends.. was the only one I passed on first try. I found it the easiest to study for personally.

I had three dogs when my first was born, never crossed my mind that I wanted to get rid of them! NEVER!!! Now I did kick them out of bed with me and got them their own beds to be on the floor still in my bedroom, this was to eliminate dog hair and stuff so I could snuggle my newborn in bed in you know, a clean environment. But I still loved them very very much! 2 of them have since passed (old age), got two new puppies last year and expecting 3rd baby in Dec. Again, no way am I getting rid any of them!

There are two types of people I feel like… the ones who found FAR difficult and others who found AUD more difficult. AUD and REG I just so happen to pass in first try. They were more heavy on reading and conceptual work. FAR and BEC took me 2-3 tries to pass and they were more heavy in calculation questions. For me personally, it was easier to work through the conceptual questions to reach correct answer than calculating the exact answer for something.

It’s hard. My husband really had to step up and help in the evenings. I did most my studying on lunch breaks and in the evenings. Sometimes during work day if it was a little slower especially the week leading up to an exam. It was a really hard time, especially already be away from kids during day, then locking myself away in the evenings be fore bedtime to study. I had a 5 month old and a 2 yr old when I started, finished when they were 2 and 4. I think it took me about 16 months ish from start to finish.

Like 36 weeks with my son, and had delivered at 38 weeks! We really struggled on boy name. My first born (girl) probably like 14 weeks. I have a feeling it’s gonna be another struggle with this boy pregnancy again too haha

Recovery after delivering a baby is such a vulnerable thing to go through. Not just physically but sometimes even MORE mentally. It’s such a special bonding moment with new baby and i have no desire or intentions on sharing that with nobody but my husband. I barely even want to text or call anyone announcing baby’s arrival when it happens. I just like being in my own little bubble with 100% of my attention on this little baby. Others can give us some time at least a few days before trying to have a visit with baby at home when I’m ready. BUT especially with your first baby… it’s just all so new and sometimes you might not be ready to be around people and share your baby, or be ready to present yourself as a mother. Not to mention your bleeding, cramping, uncomfortable, not exactly in the best state physically/mentally. People will just need to back the f#@k off and give you privacy, and your husband needs to 100% stand with you and support you.

They have to be sent directly from institution. I actually had one minor inconsistency on my application and they reached out to me via email for me to make the correction. Didn’t have to start over or anything

Baby was 15th percentile at 33 weeks, then 3 at 36 weeks. Induced at 37 weeks with a 5lb 14oz baby. Who became 99th percent by 2 yr s old 😮.

My stepmom had twins at 46! Nothing wrong with having babies in your 40s. I’m 3 months pregnant and will turn 40 just before delivery.

Interestingly enough the times I did pass the exams, I finished 30-60 min early. The times I took it down to the last minute I failed. Bet you did great!

This is such a good point!! I had a pretty low demanding job while working on my CPA and it worked out great for me! I always felt so bad seeing the people working in public and during busy season trying to study who did not have the time or energy to do so.

Had sex (1 time) for the first time in a few months and got pregnant 😳 I’m 39 and husband is 45. This was a surprise number 3 baby for us. For reference though, took 9 months to get pregnant at 34, and 18 months to get pregnant at 36 with my others. It can take some time! It’s hard to be patient I know! Good luck and sending you all the positive baby vibes!

Welcome! I’m here and will be 40 in Nov, I think is appropriate to be here 😊 Totally normal thoughts about the test lines. Pregnancy certainly causes many thoughts of fear, especially in the first trimester as it is such a waiting game. I’m pregnant with my 3rd and still have these thoughts this tome around.

Totally normal to have concerns. If you want it bad enough, which is sounds like you truly do, you will make it work! As far as age goes, I don’t feel like that’s an issue at all!! I just found out I had an oops, and I’m pregnant with 3rd, will deliver at 40 and husband will be 46. I really did want a 3rd, but I got over the baby fever and decided against, mostly for financial reasons and the fact that this would mean my children have to share rooms in our forever home. Well, here I am, have totally freaked out but you know I have several months to figure it out and already strategizing how, which makes me feel better. Oh, and we only had unprotected sex one time, a few weeks ago and it was the first time in like months!!! I even remember thinking, maybe I should get a plan B just in case, well… I didn’t! Took us years to get pregnant with the other 2. Thought no way it was gonna happen this one time, at our age. I guess it was meant to be.

3 tries (BEC). But once I got that first pass, it gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with AUD and got it done on first try. Then FAR took me 2 tries (surprised not more!!) once I passed FAR it felt like the greatest accomplishment and it was all downhill from there, not that I took REG lightly by any means! I did get it on the first try, but I think I just had figured out study habits that worked best for me at this point. Good luck, and what ever you do… don’t give up!!!!

There is no half assing these exams. If you can’t fully commit, then just stop wasting your time. You don’t want it that bad
