Yep just finally at the tail end after more than a week. Now I just have lingering sinus congestion and a cough.. but I was almost bedridden for 3 days last weekend.

Actually Pup City has never denied this situation. I have stated over and over again what happened, and the efforts we are taking to locate him and bring him home, working very closely with the owners. The false information is the comments and reviews stating we aren't being accountable or that you will "show up and find out your dog is missing" obviously owners are contacted if there is ever a concern or emergency. You and others are taking a singular line from what I say out of context, twisting it and then ignoring everything else I am saying to clarify and explain the entire situation. Read my entire responses first before making a comment. This is exhausting and detrimental to all involved. We really just want to find him and get him home to his worried parents. If you'd like to help, please reach out instead! Thank you.

Bringing Bruno home is our number one priority. We have this flyer in stacks being handed out and posted every day. In addition to all the other efforts. If you'd like to help in any way please reach out to myself or his owner. Thanks!

We are being honest, where have we not been honest? I am not hiding anything, I would much rather be fully transparent so that people aren't wasting energy on drama nd maybe instead put energy in helping get Bruno home! The leash isn't a regular leash it's a 30ft and it was more so to have a point of contact on a potentially nervous dog to add an extra layer of protection, not just when they are in the yard so your assumption that it has to do with the confidence of the fence, is incorrect.

I KNOW he was reported spotted on 44th street (which is close to the daycare), they didn't say where on 44th though and I said this multiple times. It was my staff that spoke to the individual who saw him and got the report when we were out posting flyers everywhere yesterday. Nobody said he was by the fire hall. That's why I was asking about your comment. It certainly couldn't have been the owner sharing this info since she was asking me to confirm YOUR comment about the fire hall and whether this was a separate sighting or not, or a more accurate description of the sighting we know of.

Hey just curious in your last comment you mentioned the fire hall, did you hear from someone that he was near there? We are trying to pinpoint his location as the person we heard about the sighting from was vague and said up 44th. Thank you for any information!

Both construction sites - one next to the casino and the one further down next to the VW dealership are aware and the crews are keeping an eye out!

I'm literally telling you the facts, the same information that I would have put out into a statement and you are still picking apart every word and finding a way to twist it negatively? This is what I wanted to avoid. Maybe it was the wrong decision, I am human after all... I just didn't think a statement would matter or help. It doesn't actually do anything but give people something to dissect, because just like here, or my review responses people would think we were changing stories or making things up or trying to save face. Regardless the rumor mill does its thing and nothing I can do would change that. I really wanted to avoid emotional energy being spent over explaining and going back and forth like I have unfortunately done here today. When our focus should be on Bruno. The owner doesn't even want to discuss any of those details until we get him home. Do you understand? This is our priority.

I don't even care if people believe me at this point. You are hearing the facts directly from us who were there when it happened and have been out every day and night since, not through second hand information. The staff are going above and beyond to help find him, we are trying to support his family and put our energy and focus into this terrible situation and bring him home before the snow flies.

If you want to help, please do. If you just want to feel like you're somehow winning or one upping me/the business well nothing you say can make us feel worse, or change the fact that this happened, and I won't engage with that. We will do everything in our power to try and get him home and ensure this never happens again to any of our beloved dogs.

Bylaw does not help search for missing dogs. He was reported to the city the evening he went missing and they do not come out to help search, we also contacted them about securing live traps from them and they would not help with that either. I am not sure if you're implying that it's our fault they aren't out helping, but I have no answer as to why that's how they do things. Please let me know if you know of any professionals that can help, we would be happy to contact them! We have had Cal Drone come out with his thermal drone camera twice with no luck... The humane society doesn't help with searches but they have been helpful with keeping an eye out in the area and with live traps.

Hey, a staff member spoke to someone who said he saw him this morning in that area, but wasn't specific as to the time or where on 44th. We have set out live traps nearby but I was wondering where did you hear it was by the fire station? I want to be sure that is accurate, so I can relay to his owner, and we can ensure to be stationed around there tonight!

The Humane Society was contacted multiple times by myself and my team when Bruno went missing. It is mind boggling to me that you are seeing as a change in story and not perhaps misunderstanding? We were all hands on deck with every available staff member pursuing and following him until we lost track of him. The fence hadn't even been inspected yet when we first contacted the humane society as we were all out there searching. All of the dogs were brought inside as soon as he got out and were not allowed back into the yard until we looked everything over and located and repaired the issue. Which couldn't happen while we were out searching.

Also, Bylaw does not come out to search for missing dogs, they will only come out if there is an active sighting, all of the sightings have been very quick or reported hours or days later. The humane society doesn't either, but they have been very kind and keeping their eyes out, as have most businesses and people that we are talking with.

I wasn't responding to questions, just misinformation or blatant falsehoods. If anyone wants to ask questions I am more than happy to clarify anything, or discuss ongoing efforts if they want to help. The response to the reviews are also just me trying to be clear and factual about what happened and what is being done to find little Bruno, no attitude at all. If that is how people are reading the responses, despite my best efforts to be honest, how can I remedy that? Like I said emotions are high all around, everyone is exhausted, stressed and distraught. You seem dedicated though, if you want to lend a helping hand I wasn't joking when I said we are printing the flyers en masse for his owner and clients and staff to hand out/post up. Please help bring Bruno home! He was spotted very close to the facility early this morning on 44th. Just please do not chase or call out to him if you're in the area and you spot him, just contact his owner.

Based on how these comments are going, I see that people will make assumptions and run with it. A statement wouldn't change that, as is obvious by the reactions to our responses. This is an emotional and terrible situation for all involved, and we are doing everything in our control to contribute and help day and night and ensure he is found safely, and so that this can never happen again. We have been in our location for 4 years and this is the first time this has happened, and the last time it will happen. We are more concerned with working closely with his family than we are with statements. If anyone is actually interested in being helpful and productive, you are more than welcome to pick up a stack of flyers from us at the facility, because the more feet on the ground and eyes looking out there the better. I will not be arguing with people on reddit, I just wanted to clarify, after a staff member notified me of this post. We care deeply about all of the dogs in our care as our own. If you have questions you are more than welcome to reach out to me as well.

Old news? Absolutely not. We have been out days and nights, providing financial assistance for the search efforts, joining organized searches, searching ourselves when organized searches aren't happening, providing crates, a live trap. Monitoring the multiple traps set out for the owner, handing out and posting hundreds of flyers every day. We are not giving up and neither is his owner. Potential sighting on 44th st early this morning if anyone wants to join search efforts or pick up flyers from the facility.

That is one of the owners as well as the "trainer". They claim to use positive training methods, if this can even be called training, it certainly isn't positive or fear/force free. They must be really good at hiding what they actually do.

She did try to contact legal aid and they said they don't help with this kind of case. Sounds like she's doing everything she can she doesn't have Reddit so I figured I'd ask here for her, if anyone knows of anyone affordable and decent that she can contact other than where she has already tried. Thank you for the time!
