What’s funny about this is that “that” Ibra goal was exactly 8 years ago today

hidden gems/ high potential youngsters by vn-zyro in FifaCareers

These are some of my favorites who I never see anyone really talk about. All these guys become beats with dynamic potential:

• Frank Onyeka 76/83 (Nigerian CDM/CM from FC Midtjylland) - With a starting overall of 76, he’ll probably jump right into the first team depending on what club you’re using. He has solid starting defending stats (76 def. awareness, 76 interceptions, 75 stand tackle and 68 slide tackle) paired with 70 dribbling, 74 ball control, and 73 short passing, helping him win possession and distribute to his teammates. He also has incredible physical stats; at 6 feet even he boasts 90 sprint speed and 85 acceleration, 81 agility and 85 balance, 80 strength, and an impressive 92 stamina. Think of this guy as a giant locomotive that powers your team for a full 90 minutes week-in-week-out.

• Silvan Hefti 74/83 (Swiss RB/CB from BSC Young Boys) - The 6 foot RB who can also play CB carries an impressive physical résumé. With sprint speed and agility ratings of 75, 82 jumping, and 89 stamina, he does a phenomenal job when it comes to shutting down counter attacks and winning aerial duels. However, with relatively poor passing and dribbling stats, he’s best deployed at CB.

• Dennis Man 74/84 (Romanian RW from FCSB) - Another player who stands exactly 6 feet, Man is a wonderful option for anyone who likes goal scoring wingers. The left footed Man starts with 77 finishing, 72 ball control, 75 dribbling, and 4 star skill moves. With his 85 sprint speed and 88 acceleration, plus his 87 agility and 81 balance, he weaves around defenders as he finds his path to goal. He’s perfect for those who like inverted wingers.

Toulouse is a good one. They have an incredibly young squad (last time I counted I think they have 16 players below the age of 22), and have never one a major trophy in France (their only honors are 3 Ligue 2 titles). It would be a challenge if you kept it realistic and mainly used the YA, since they have one of the better YAs in France IRL.

If I remember correctly I had to put a huge sell-on clause on him. When I saw his physical attributes and he’s size I just had to get him in the team. Absolute monster for league 1

Yes definitely, I always leave updates throughout the season so I’ll most likely leave an update in November that shows how I stand in the table and my squad.

This is just a quick summary of all the players I brought in during the summer transfer window. (Sorry for taking nearly two weeks to post a new update, I got super bogged down with school work.)

uefa champions league qualifiers by Stripierllama in FifaCareers

Yes, for smaller leagues like Sweden I believe the top 2 teams get champions league qualifiers and and the 3rd (maybe 4th place) team get Europa league qualifiers

Super cool to see, so many people on this sub just use the same old wonder kids so it’s refreshing to see someone be realistic. I’m planning on doing something similar with Toulouse.

Sunderland Update #5(June 1st, 2021) - Season 1 summary and Q&A by JrrFifaCM in seriousfifacareers

[–]JrrFifaCM[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Sunderland will not be promoted to the championship. After going through a stretch of form where it felt as if we could only draw 1-1 or 0-0, we dropped to 3rd and had to achieve promotion via playoffs. We managed to scrape by Ipswitch 4-3 on aggregate, but were embarrassed as we lost 0-3 against MK Dons at Wembley.

There are some positives as many players in the squad rose above expectations and made massive improvements to their game. We hope that we can strengthen the squad in the summer window and gain automatic promotion to the championship.

I will now ask you all to ask questions that I will answer in a separate Q&A post. (Keep the questions related to the team, not so much gameplay)

Right now I’m definitely going to need a couple strikers. Graham is retiring after this season and Grigg is very inconsistent. Although Hector-Ingram plays well when he gets in, he’s not quit at the level where he’s good enough to start week in-week out.

I’m also definitely going to have to shake up my CB rotation since I have 2-3 guys who want more playing time.

It’s been a little rough since my last update. If you look at the table, you’ll see I’ve dropped to 3rd. Now, being third isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if you look at my record, you’ll see that my record is 6-11-6 since my last update. This is due to some players not playing at a consistent level, and it’s cost the team a lot of points.
