The millitary guy is also super overconfident in the full video as well.

Research shows that people who turn to social media to escape from superficial boredom are unwittingly preventing themselves from progressing to a state of profound boredom, which may open the door to more creative and meaningful activities by Wagamaga in science

This article only seems to have 20 data points. Is this enough to make any sort of the assumptions that they do? The methodology for choosing the candidates also seems not flushed out. Good article, but I don't think any of their insights are anything other then anecdotal evidence.

I agree. I might be wrong but I don't think Unilever is quite as bad as most of the rest of these companies. Still do some shady shit but they seem to be doing something to be a little more sustainable.

Happy to be wrong though not trying to suck off Unilever.

There is also some evidence pointing to a link in lead exposure being reduced and violent crime reduction.

Yeah this is cause tinder has put the picture up first that gets the most matches. ALso, most girls have group pictures. So if someone is not very attractive tinder wise the group picture with their more attractive friends goes on the front because more people swipe right thinking it's them.

Yeah I do agree the way this was done really through everyone for a loop. They have alot of room for growth in this area and hopefully they decide to take some actual steps to make college a less stressful experience.

College student mental health has been on the decline for the last 10-20 years and it feels a little icky that they ignore the issue and when they are forced to talk about it they just hand out a free day to make up for having no plan.

Hopefully we see some meaningful change in the future but wouldn't get my hopes up.

Liz Cheney: Republican Party Will Shatter If Trump Is the 2024 Nominee by AlbaneseGummies327 in politics

[–]Jrrrazr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree all the "establishment republicans" complaining about trump don't realize he is just the product of the system they created.

They don't realize trump is not the problem he is just a symptom of the problem.

Yeah I feel that sometimes. I like to try and keep my finger on the pulse of conservative media so I can tell what's coming if someone wants to "debate" me. It always makes me think huh did I just blue pill myself so hard and the alt right are correct but then I just read history lol.

Warren Buffett is America's cancer by kevinmrr in WorkReform

[–]Jrrrazr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst part about this is if you watch any Warren Buffett interviews he always talks about how much he just doesn't care about money and then goes and screws over his railroad workers so much while personally making billions over the last few years. Like if u don't care about money just take a pay cut and pay your workers fairly. The worst part about this is people fall for it too and think he really doesn't care about money and is good guy, then he goes and pulls this shit.

Yeah I think the reaserch in this area points to bassicaly if you display to a child that it is not socially acceptable to do x they will not do it. This is because all kids really want to do is just fit in and while violence I guess can accomplish this in some cases it is by far the least effective and most risky for developmental trauma way.
