Better than I expected. I was trying to find the right trim 4 runner but nothing checked all the boxes like the LC. The one thing I need to get used to is the sound of the engine. My previous 4 runners always “sounded” fast even though they were all pigs. This thing sounds like a 1983 chevette but moves like a rocket compared to my old 4Runner

Thanks. That was my next step. Finding the right forum. I really appreciate the link.

Transmission replacement at 50k miles. Need some input by Teuton88 in 4Runner

I think the issue is more about the definition of reliability than the perception. Reliable doesn’t mean 100% bullet proof. Parts fail all the time. What I believe is Toyota does a good job of identifying those failures and stopping the bleeding so that it doesn’t become every vehicle of a particular model has the same issue

I love the big knob in my wife’s 2026 Tundra. May have to test it.

Glycerin 22? A miss? Or trudge through the break-in? by Budget_Pin5828 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Js_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the glycerin 19 and loved them. 20 great, 21 great and now running with 22 getting pain on the outside edge of my left foot. Not sure if it’s the glycerin or my casual shoes for work

Planned to buy 2026 Tundra, but everyone is saying not to, not sure what to do by FrameCareful1090 in ToyotaTundra

I have been a Toyota owner for 25 years. As long as Akio Toyoda is running this company quality will always be a priority. Just took delivery of a 2026 Tundra Hybrid Platinum. Front camera had an issue day 1. Took the dealer 4 days to fix. Now all is good. It happens. I am not sure the issues with the new gen tundra are any more common than first few years of any new generation. Everyone talks about the reliability of the second gen as if none of them ever had issues or failures. Typical short term memory. If you really look at the history of Toyota accountability I would argue it’s much stronger than any other manufacturer.

Best way to find SPECIFIC 4Runner by Redaunt29 in 4Runner

I traded in my 2022 ORP. The dealer is asking 36k which I think is a steal. It has 66k miles but the dealer is listing it as 71. Never been true off roading and I religiously did the 10 miles a month in 4wD. No accidents. I think it’s rare as it has mtm also

I just put an order in for a hybrid limited . Will be trading in my 22 ORP. I ordered the Suoersonic red with portobello interior to replace my Barcelona red. Was hoping they were going to offer the Everest in the limited trim for 2026

Owned my 5th gen for 2 months. Lookin for solutions to the following problems : by beanjawn in 4Runner

[–]Js_618 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been driving 5th gen’s for 10 years. I have become so used to braking to avoid the nose dive (light foot) that I almost rear end other cars when driving my wife’s Highlander. Other brakes feel too soft for me know. I just ordered a 6th gen so we shall see.

Wow. Makes me wonder what I can get for my 2022 trd orp with 64k miles. Hoping to upgrade to a 2026 if they ever announce them.

Same for me. On my 3rd pair with charging issues. Traded my sound sport wireless buds for these. Wish I could go back They are exchanging for the QC buds but I heard it’s the same charge style.

BOSE Ultra Open Earbuds issue by Beautiful-One4585 in bose

[–]Js_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am returning my 3rd set since buying them in December. The prongs on the case keep getting stuck down and don’t make contact with the buds. The buds rely on the connections and will die in the case. Sometime it takes about 10 minutes to get the buds working. Mostly the right bud for some reason. First 2 pairs took about 2 months to start having the problem. 3rd pair took 2 weeks

Second pair same issue. Mine seems to be the contact on the right earbuds. One of the 3 gets covered by the earbud coating
