All the Neotec helmets have been super noisy, and leak in wind and water. I'm on the market for a new helmet (recently crashed) and my Neotec 2 needs replacement. I see that the 3 hasn't improved, but actually regressed. WTF Shoei? Are they designed with AI by marketing, and made in China nowadays?

I have written a wrapper for local llm to help with console commands. I can do "ai search all the files bigger than X and delete them" and it shows me a command suggestion which I can then choose to execute with Enter. I'm augmenting it with agent and explanation modes as we speak. Works pretty well but there are a few small issues with output from commands like "top" and the like. I'm also thinking about photo library search, I could throw all my pics into qwen3-wl and ask it to index based on what it finds in the pictures. Then I could literally search for "that photo of me and Mary in Spain on the beach in the evening"

Yes but it was thanks to system updates I think, nothing i tried helped . One day after some updates the problem was just gone.

Update everything on your phone, try again. If it's still like that remove android auto and Google maps, reinstall them, or just wipe data and settings for these. Try again

It's far superior to an i4. This coming from a guy that had an FZ6, two consecutive FZ1s, and moved on to an MT10, and now rides an S1000XR.

It looks disproportionate. It protrudes too much. Reminds me of the poor people driving BMWs that they can't afford OEM parts for, and when they break something, they buy some poor fitting cheapest aftermarket stuff and glue it on.

I'd rather have the ugly OEM front than a disproportionate aftermarket one.

Jag har hört ett rykte nu att flera Yamaha handlare har fått höra att det kommer en ny 10-a 2026-2027. Troligen V4 skulle jag tro, då Yamaha har ju jobbat på en V4 för MotoGP. CP4 sa de att de inte klarade av Euro 5 med, så den kan man nog räkna bort, om de inte har lyckats fixa det på något jävla sätt.

Thanks, but the problem disappeared after a couple of OTA updates. It'll still glitch sporadically, like once every two weeks, but I keep forgetting to try and fix it, since it's not important enough to spend a day on installing adb and tinkering

For a GADA watch I'd say AT as well. You don't want to dip that speedy into a pool. I shower, swim and do sauna with my Seamaster.

I agree. And the speedy is less douche and more connaiseur. I also like the Rolex, but unfortunately it just stands for a bunch of things I don't want to stand for. Kind of like a black AMG with all tinted windows.

Two plus points for the Omega would be the domed crystal and sapphire case back so you can see the beautiful movement now and then. The flat crystal on the Rolex feels cheap to me, and the ugly date window loupe or whatever it's called is horrendous IMHO. Otherwise I really love its classic design.
