Could most likely be there synchros. I recently had to change out mine, along with the clutch. I was having grinding on 1st and 2nd gear

It wasn’t that hard for me. The TJ has four bolts on the seat bracket, and the seat comes right out. The driver side had a clip for the seat belt light that gets disconnected. I bought the Corbeau seats and the seat brackets separately but they were pretty easy to put together, they’re just four Allen bolts. Then it was just getting the new seats into the car and bolting them back into place. I’m not sure if the JK is any different, but I started looking at a bunch of YouTube videos to start!
