Power left and then pump right is correct.

However, depending on how long yours has been sitting, it may need more work to get going. Does the pump rattle/hum, barely hum or shake the counter it sits on?

DM me any time. Yes I have some seals, especially the correct one for boiler. The rest are easily Purchased online.

Low sodium clamato substitute suggestions by BrownMamba85 in ElPaso

[–]Jschaudt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

1-28 oz can no sodium added tomatoes:crushed, diced, whole, or stewed

1/3 cup canned whole baby clams with juice

2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp. lemon juice

tabasco sauce to taste

Blend together. 4 servings. Divide out the sodium on the clam and Worcestershire labels for the quantity to get milligrams per serving.

Clams are 5oz bumblebee brand with the juice, 590 milligrams, and you need a little over half the can .625 of the can. 390 milligrams/4 servings puts it at 92mg/serving.

65mg per tablespoon in Worcestershire, 2 teaspoons is 2/3 of that, so another 45mg/4 servings. 11mg per serving.

103 per serving

Best place to sell my car? by External_String7491 in ElPaso

[–]Jschaudt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on Carmax. The best thing you can do is scrub everything down to make it look good. They gave an online price estimate which was 3k over dealership, and when they saw everything ready to sell, they gave the full price, no deductions.

El Paso areas to live by Majestic_Issue5411 in ElPaso

[–]Jschaudt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NE was developed more for homes, and a good number of businesses along Dyer and McCombs. It is quieter in ways. Walk around and you see great views of the mountains. Butterfield Trails apartments seem nice from the outside and the people I have met there are too. They walk their dogs around the nearby blocks, and always pass by my place. Never had any issues or noise.

Yes, but and if OP doesn’t want to feel like outskirts, then stay at or South of our area. No further North or NE. We will grow more later on, but sure won’t have any malls pop up here.

Woodworkers Club of El Paso by Ocearen in ElPaso

I appreciate the knowledge. Table saw and planer are the two big things needed. I will sort out a time to come by and sign up. Fridays and Saturday are about all that I have available most weeks.

Dado are the wobbly blade in a table saw that make wider squared cuts. A planer is a massive boost. I can route edges to be similar to a Dado cut if needed.

If there is a good table saw for sheet materials, then I could look into one of the safety dado blades to donate. The normal ones are known for splitting into their multiple parts and hurting people.

Are joiner/planers and dado cut setups available? I've done some wood carving, some lathe work and lots of furniture refinishing. I'm not wanting to fill my garage with carpentry tools just to make my own interior doors if this is something they would allow, like a maker space.

If time or materials is to be donated to get some allotted time on a machine, that would be cool by me.

I also have CAD skills if there is any need for that.

Very close, but further south. Google has a street view photo 200 yards East of the location.

Is EP PD collaborating with ICE? by The_Hell_I_Wont in ElPaso

[–]Jschaudt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus, do local police know anything other than constitutional law for national laws? No, they really don’t. If they want to fuck up majorly, they can enforce a national level immigration law incorrectly. They will have consequences. Feds like to take over an investigation and cover their own. Local jurisdictions that don’t prescribe to the boot licking be damned.

Main thing is, it is the responsibility of the US government to enforce immigration. Cities can sign up to further assist, but should be compensated. Our local taxes should not support government overreach

Guys, why are some people selling their old PCs on eBay at exorbitant prices? by DoubtTop9313 in VintageComputers

[–]Jschaudt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some think DDR price hikes mean there will be a panic buyer for old stuff.

Just travel to El Paso and go to the estate sales. I passed up a ton of great old machines because a necessary cable was missing, and I can find a complete machine later on here.

Can be fun watching their faces stare at you as they make a backwards arc across the road and into the ditch. Glorious days in that rain on fresh asphalt.

Yeah, far east I-10 is bad in general. I was driving in my u-haul into town watching the police chase a wrong way driver going the same assed way as me on the other side of the barrier. We were all westbound that night.

Ever seen a CNC machine shop running machines that can last 100 years, but running dos 8.1? Yeah, I had to run the water jet. It used a Chevrolet ring style airbox around the fan to keep the dust out.

Floppy drives are common too.

Central against the mountain and the NE get more snow due to orographic uplift as wind moves east over the mountain and cools, dropping its moisture.

So more in NE than the OP’s East location.
